Most elders are not "pathological" but "practised" at verbal deception TW. The device is reckoned as highly reliable as well as inexpensive. If you don't want to buy one, that's your decision. I'm saying though that lying, misspeaking, verbally misleading or whatever is no longer effective even when coming from practised TW users, especially Watchtower elders. Rank-and-file JWs and others can use the devices too :) Bad news for the Watchtower :) Doesn't that cheer you up, too, as well as all others opposed to Watchtower TW. It should. :)

Watchtower Has NOT Rescinded Theocratic Warfare!
by onthego init never did for if you read the article closely it says no christian "wants" to lie.
it doesn't say no christian must lie.
it itself is a statement that is a word ploy, deceptive.

It definitely can too and that's why it's sold. Any little stress variation in the voice is detected. TW has met its match and its name is TECHNOLOGY. Run Brooklyn, run!

It never did for if you read the article closely it says no Christian "wants" to lie. It doesn't say no Christian must lie. It itself is a statement that is a word ploy, deceptive. Happily though there is now a very cheap device (I think for about $50!) which determines when people are lying to you by voice stress, so Theocratic Warfare won't be doing them much good for long :) :) :) It will be so hard for some elders to unlearn old ways......... :)

Who Could You Trust in the Congregation
by JH in.
were there some people in your congregation that you could say anything to them, and you were sure they wouldn't stool to the elders?
how many people in your congregation could you really trust?
-
onthego
There is zero trust in congregations where wire tapping occurs to hide criminal activities. And since the policy is pushed onto all below Brooklyn, it is growing by the day. Trying to justify it by saying there's much more good than bad that comes of it is baloney.

Dubs Just At The Door! (After Two Year Absence!)
by Stephanus insitting at computer and hear two males talking as they come up our path.
already suspicious, but when i peep out of my crack in the curtain, i see two blokes i don't recognise, wearing long-sleeved collared shirts and ties in what is strictly t-shirt weather.
suspicion confirmed.

The Watchtower heads over regular kind JWs are trying to hide the child molestation coverup etc behind a picture of the U.S. Supreme Court. Also recently they tried to pretend they don't use (or mislead about the common usage of) "theocratic warfare" misspeaking or lying but saying "no Christian wants to lie" instead of "no Christian can lie", in itself word gamery or TW deception.

Again, thanks, Bill and Friends!
The divide-and-conquer, laugh it away ploys are Watchtower "Theocratic Warfare" tactics that won't work here.
You're going down, Watchtower fanatics, fast....! As JW rank-and-file become more aware, more will quit your pedophile paradise. Besides, you secretly being a Non-Government Organization in the U.N. for ten years was also hypocrisy.

Did you want to be a MS?
by JH indo you think that if a brother didn't become a ministerial servant in a reasonable amount of time, that he was considered weak?
did you want to be a ms or did you prefer not to have any responsibilities in the congregation?

While that is one view, another is that the elders believe he might tell the police some of the dark stuff they are hiding such as child molestation. So it is just as likely to his credit they do not appoint him and no other elder body does either, since the coverup policy on molestation is from the top down and earthwide. They may also be into heavy visual or electronic surveillance. He, his wife or family and friends may think he's weak because they don't believe the information about the molestings put out on by the media including Dateline NBC. But it's probably actually to his credit.

Do you believe in demons, Ted Jarasz?
by onthego inare you able to sleep at night?
knowing pat garza has gone public saying how you molested her and others when a district overseer in los angeles?
seeing that still another lawsuit was filed the first day of the 2003 new year against the watchtower society you are a governing body member of?
-
onthego
The WTS assigns trolls to post for them on this board, and they also read everything that goes on it, so, yes, Ted Jarasz is kept aware of what I posted.
We recognize the trolls by the pro-WTS, pro-Jarasz postings they put up

Int'l Convention Qualifications?
by Jourles indoes anyone know who approves candidates to attend the international assemblies and what the qualifications are?
i know of a family that was "approved" to attend one of next summers international conventions.
all but one family member was invited.
-
onthego
Attendance must be approved by the whole body of the elders. Apparently an elder is opposed to your family member.

The article says the guy got a home Bible study going with the child then molested her. I don't think there's going to be many Bible studies in the U.S. anymore after people read this article! We need to protect the children!
