Noah got drunk and something happen during that time and Ham & his son were part of something bad and Ham's son gets cursed.Ham as the father didn't correct his son or stop whatever he did because his son is cursed and now Ham has to live with that guilt.Remember if you want wisdom Ask God (In prayer)

congregational cliques
by chuckyy init was my experience during my 13 yrs as a jw that congregations usually had a social clique.
in other words, there would be a group of people in a congregation that would only associate (and sometimes only go out on field service too) with people within that social clique.
if you were in the clique, fine.

BLOOD card - in a nutshell
by TheEdge ini know they are renewed yearly, and here's my dilemma......my mother being a devout jw (and me well faded) - i know i am named on her card as next of kin (she mentioned it a few weeks ago) and over the years she has always asked me to stand against the blood issue on her behalf if she's unable to do so.
i have always agreed, because whatever i believe, i also respect the belief of others too.
now i'm wondering what exactly is on there........is it a flip flop?

Once again the WTBTS are up to the same old stuff. Every year that goes by they get new light and slowly start to change this an that. I thank Jesus (The God-Man) My Lord that I can see right through all there lies.Think about how many people died/almost died listining too that cult.Didn't people learn from what happen at Jones Town in 1978, it's 2005 an people are still drinking the Kool-Aid.

That is Great news and NIV in hand, Praise the Lord. Remember Jesus is Almighty God in the flesh ,read John 1:1 from a correct Bible like NIV. also The book of Isa. to prove the deity of Christ, you can even use there own bible to show the dubs. I think in cha 9 Jesus is called mighty God and in the very next cha (10) God the father is called mighty God the JW's won't point that out. also in cha 44 verse 6 it said there is only One God but in the JW's bible on john1;1 they put the letter "a" in there and therfore the dub's worship 2 Gods 2 many, they hate when I point that out to them. Why does God need to be worshiped?
by Scully injust curious about this question today and wondered if anyone else has pondered this.. is worship meant to be a reverent show of appreciation for life that god imparts to individuals?
if that's the case, and someone - by the mere accident of their birth - has a truly crappy life, why should these people worship god or show him "appreciation" for their unfortunate circumstances?
why should anyone who endures hardships worship god, particularly if they have been worshiping god and then all of a sudden a heap of trouble just plops into their lives, unannounced and unwelcome??.

I would just say why not read the book of Job. There is a larger picture going on that we can't see right now But we can know about it. Remember in the Beginning Everything was Perfect...Adam, Ms Eve, Garden, Heaven, Earth, etc etc. I say worship God because he Is Love and has already opened the way back up By the second person of the Divine trinity His Son....Jesus. Jesus Is Lord
