Catholic or Rome is what the meaning of the woman riding the beast (Revelation). The Woman is a City after reading through you know its Rome. As for the Rapture It can come at Any moment or Time. Thats why it's called the Blessed Hope. The fact that the time we live in is computerize and there are Nukes/bombs/gases/guns etc must be a wake up call, the it's coming. There are TWO stages Rapture then 7year Trib to Armaggendom. Then Jesus steps in at the last battle an that is the second coming. The souls under the alter (The Fifth seal) are people who are killed during the Trib. who don't recieve the mark. They are to wait until its all over after Jesus beats anti-christ etc then there is a First Resurrection of All christians killed during the 7 years. Then there on earth Christ rules for 1,000 years but it ends in war. This is some Heavy stuff, before you get into this Get saved First by accepting Jesus as your Lord an Savior, repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive you an Thank Him. Pray & read his word daily even if its just for 5 mis. Also find a chruch to go to an get baptize, there should be no strings attachs. Now you are ready to get into the word believe Prophesy (1Cor. 14:22)

we all know that we do not know the correct pronunciation of the name of god.
over 6000 times, the tetragrammaton is mentioned in the ot.
yet for some reason, most bibles do not use the name jehovah or yahweh but a few times.
Jesus never used it. Is it possible that, to God himself, the importance of his name is not to be found in its exact spelling or pronunciation, but in the meaning and reverence which it commands?
I tell Jw's how about using Father (ABBA) or Lord or Yahweh or Yah or God etc etc.
The name Jehovah came from a Catholic Monk in the 12 cen.

i was just thinking on this issue last night - why did god happen to guide me to a more accurate knowledge of the bible instead of the many other sincere people still in the congregation i used to associate.
what makes me so special as to warrant this blessing?
is a good education in bible doctrine the sole criterion for exiting the watchtower when there are many sincere ones who are not natural students who seem permanently trapped in the cycle of watchtower feeding.

I don't know what you have been threw but you must be in alot of pain. I'm just trying to help that's all. In the Bible God knows the Beginning an End of things. So he knows that not all will follow Jesus but follow blindy the lies of the Devil. The fact that the free gift of eternal life is opened to all means there is hope. Just that a person may make a choice which there is no turning back, an once you die that's it then comes the jugdement. So even thou this gift is open to all only few find it or want it for that matter. That's the best way I can explain it. Please Don't give up on God, it wasn't his fault it was wicked mankind that gave you the wrong gospel. Now you have a chance to do it right an make your peace with God. i was talking to some jehovah witness in a bible study, and we got into a conversation of heaven.
i told him that we would all be in heaven and live there, and he told me, "what would be the point of god creating the whole earth and putting us here then destroying it?
wouldn't it just be easier to repair the earth and place us here again?

Well done you have done your research of scripture well. Yes The Garden of Eden was like the New Jer. in a way. That old saying "Heaven on Earth". After Adam & Eve got more knowledge of what evil was/is by doing evil, it was the death of them, they hide because they knew that they would be kicked out etc. But God knew all this an did not give up on them. It was the only way to beat satan once an for all in a justified way. That was Gods Plan to beat satan once an for all. Remember Hell/Gehenna was maded for him long ago, but God in his wisdom would use him to Glorify Himself then after God is done with satan cast him off were he belongs. A good Read is "The serpent of Paradise by Erwin W. Lutzer". You really see Gods wisdom an that he is in complete control of everything even the fall of man was worked into the divine plan.
