  as a fader, i'm working on a mental guide to field service.

  because most of this is a mental exercise realizing that your new knowledge, the mental side of things, is what makes it so hard to preach after learning ttatt.

  I have only Read CoC so far but that was only after much bible research and WT publications reading. Its those books and again the bible that convinced me that the JW's religion is a scam and a Cult. This religion is only about promoting the power of its leaders always the professed Anointed. A truly anointed follower of christ and a faithful slave would not yell it from the roofs tops as these A*&holes do.

  I think when people are allowed to freely discuss the bible and religion then its inevitable that the pro-JW stance would go away. There are way too many things in the bible that don't jive with JW doctrine. The only reason more JW's don't exit the religion is because of family and the fact that since they can not free discuss the bible, they just check their brains at the door.

  I just would talk about how they jesus is not your mediator and how only the 144k are mediated by christ and only them are in the new covenant and sons of god. Then you can show him all the scriptures that blow up this idea and ask him how he can continue to be in a religion that says jesus is not you messiah? Put the pressure back on him.

  have jws pinched anything other than family worship from the mormons?.

  could we see jws implement a type of meeting structure similar to the mormons to try and engage different ages in different ways?.

  I'm willing to bet the GB are doing everything they can to learn and copy from the mormons, they also have learned and done a real nice job of coping the leadership of the Catholics.

  yesterday i heard that the day before two people from my former congregation had died (this is in the netherlands, schiedam).

  their deaths are a little bit related and i think it is a very sad story.. a young boy from sixteen old years hanged himself.

  his little sister found him in his room.

  So sad and so true!! A few weeks ago a witness family down the street, the womans 16 old boy committed suicide, i'll bet being raise a jw and leaving and all the pressures of that had something if not every thing to do with it.
