  i want you to see how fake people are who pretend their open-minded, dr. erhman try's to reason with someone whose mind is totally made up.

  the topic is whether there was a man named jesus and paul, the infidel atheist get's owned because he shows his true colors!.

  Canada Branch Finances - What's Going On?

  an update on the canada branch hasn't been made (i think).. year-over-year, canada's equity decreased by 11 million in 2012, 17 million in 2013.. however, the 2014 report shows a huge increase (20 million) in the cost of "purchased supplies.

  " with the shrinkage of the mags, and the push to online, how the heck did this go from 39 million to 58 million?.

  even with this number, the equity in 2014 went down by a staggering 56 million.. what the heck is going on?.

  Bible Chronology, Egyptology and the Great Flood

  fact: bible chronology says the flood occurred between 2348 and 2370 bce, depending on which scholar you listen to.

  fact: the great pyramid of giza was constructed 200 years before, in c. 2560 bce..

  so, if you believe in a literal interpretation of noah's flood, you believe that the egyptians built a great civilization, were destroyed by the flood in 2370 bce, and then somehow, they reappeared immediately after the flood, picked right back up where they left off without skipping a cultural beat.. oh, and isn't it ironic that legitimately studying the great pyramid of giza debunks jw mythology now?

  I had an elder and his pioneer wife stop by last night to talk to my wife, I was supposed to be gone longer I guess. So any way I just stade busy a pretty much ignored them. I just made eye contact with him so I waved and his wife finally asked how I was doing and I just said fine. So anyway I'm sure they expected me since they were friends to go over and talk and try to start up a conversation or something. I wasn't about to play thier game. I'm neither DA'd or Df'd but they all have shunned me unless force to say a greeting to save face.

  in the early writings of the bible its mentioned that the israelites worshiped false gods, gods of the stars and other celestial bodies.

  ezekiel even bloviates against this in his writings and king josiah is said to have abolish these practices.

  jeremiah mentions that god would even destroy the city were sun worship was being practiced a place called bethshemesh in egypt.

  Genesis as a Parable

  jesus always spoke to the crowds using parables.

  in fact, the bible says jesus would never speak to the crowds without using parables.. a parable is a fictional story that is used to teach deep moral and spiritual truths.. the scriptures say:.

  matthew 13:34-35 (niv):jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.

  most of the stories in the book of Genesis are myths from older cultures Sumerians etc. The Epic of Gilgamesh is and older story of the flood but it too was a copy of and even older story. The tower of Babel was also a Sumerian story. The God is this story is also the god that was apart of the earlier story of Adam. These are all older stories the Hebrew stole and used and changed for their purposes. The Exodus story maybe a retelling of the Hyksos expulsion from Egypt that happened much earlier then the so called Hebrew exodus. An early historian writing before the 1st century CE stated that these Hyksos after being expelled from Egypt settled in Jerusalem.

  More double speak, proverbs chapter 4 is all about how great wisdom is. Yet they are also correct, once I became educated I learned that the first God the Hebrews worshipped was a cannaanite God named El. They also stole stories like the Noah's flood story from older cultures involving many God's. They the Hebrews never worshiped one God in fact there's evidence they worshiped El, baal, Asherah, RA, Enki, Marduk and up in to the 5th century Ad Helios. Education has made me a non believer.
