  should the chosen mouthpiece (gb) be a voice or merely an imitative echo?.

  is new light original (because it is coming direct from jehovah) or is it leftover from the minds of men?.

  watchtower magazine failed to release new light first, before any other religious person or body.

  hi folks... i was playing a tiny online ipad multiplayer war game last night and one started a dialogue with a another player i was attacking.

  in it he quoted a scripture.. and it turns out he he is a 25 year serving jw.

  possibly an elder... well.. i spent 6 hours tapping away with one finger in the chat box until 8am this morning with him about all the issues on sex abuse, the money grab and most importantly the subject of jesus turning his attention to the earth and selecting the then bibles students as his one and only people based on what they were teaching (spiritual food) back then.. he knows nothing about any of the current and historic child sex abuse cases (never heard of candice conti etc) and even less about the insane early teachings or russell etc.. i completely blew his mind in our 6 hour text chat not to mention my index finger nearly falling off!.

  There's a you tube chanel called dJW mediafilms something like that. Any there's a video on it where he uses JW own books and the list of babylonian kings listed in those books to show that Jerusalem was destroyed in 587 not 607. It's called JWmediafilms

  Family Reuinion and Being Disfellowshipped (sorry...but it's long)

  it has been a long looong time since i posted on here, but never ceased reading all the posts and keeping up on the changes that have been going on!

  but it just seems that now i have a need to get something off my chest, and this is the one place that will most definitely understand the topic at hand.

  i have been disfellowshipped for about 8yrs now, and have dealt with the 'consequences' of that decision: all my so-called friends in the org left and i was also abandoned by my own family.

  I have never met a more deluded, delusional, brainwashed, ignorant , loyal, group of people then the Jehovah's witnesses. Their ability to think has been stolen from them, seeing how they react when I share some knowledge with them that doesn't go along with their world view, via their indoctrination, only confirms this to me. Its very unfortunate that they will continue to have members for years to come. One can only hope that with all the changes they are making they become less relevant in the lives of their members and their members can have some sort of a life and taste just a little bit of reality before they die.

  July 19th Watchtower Summary. Insanity

  just got back from the wt study and it overall was just so blindingly biased and leading.. i had to read it from the platform too, i hope they couldn't see the confounded look on my face as i read this craziness out!.

  first we consider the faith of abel, enoch, noah, abraham, isaac and jacob, and moses.. all of these people are held up as sterling examples of blind faith, with the article pointedly saying that their imaginations sustained their faith in gods promises for them.

  no mention anywhere at all that all of these characters saw and talked to angels, spoke to god himself, saw and performed miracles, or any of the other feats experienced by these characters.

  How much damage has internet done against the The Watchtower Society ?

  in the beginning of internet the society was worried about the information published exposing its falsehood.

  so, i wonder how many people lost the society on account of forums and web sites like this.

  Its just plain go old information period that's killing the WT. I did not go to any apostate websites when I was waking up and doing research. I read their information via their wt library and websites but I did find some opinion's on a few subjects on a bible translation site. Being introduced to another point of view helped to put the nails in the coffin. We have also read here about ones doing research on a part or talk they were working up and going to the internet while doing their research. This woke those people up, so its not only about apostate web sites it about knowledge. When one obtains it the lies fall away.

  The Borg knows that their loosing members and not getting new ones do to the fact that people in mass are leaving behind this idea of the bible and the god of it. The percentage of people believing is dropping big time decade by decade. This article and others is meant to try to battle against people currently going, from becoming part of this mass movement. I read somewhere that 4000 churches per year are closing in the USA alone.

  mashiach means messiah which means annointed or christos, christ.

  messiah =annointed =christ.

  governing body is annointed = is messiah = is christ .

  Just Sharing a couple of experiences I heard in the last day or two about ones leaving the Borg.

  i was having breakfast with a friend and former jw just yesterday and he informed me that the place we were eating in is owned by a former witness.

  the story goes as he tells me that the wife and husband or on the outs and getting a divorce.

  now just so you know the state i live in, a divorce is not quick, mandatory waiting period etc.

  I was having breakfast with a friend and former JW just yesterday and he informed me that the place we were eating in is owned by a former witness. The story goes as he tells me that the wife and husband or on the outs and getting a divorce. Now just so you know the state I live in, a divorce is not quick, mandatory waiting period etc. . Anyway the elders new the couple was having problems. When they elders finally came around to offer counsel, the brother informed them that it was to late they had already divorced. This is one of the main reasons this brother told my friend why he is no longer a practicing jw, so much love and all.

  Then today I run in to a old friend and after a while he tells me he no longer goes and here is his story. His wife is pressuring him to become more of a spiritual head and he's not complying the way she wants so she leaves him. He then creates a friendship with another woman but not physical never lays a had on her. Anyway the wife gets her privileges taken away for two months because she left her husband with out scriptural grounds, he gets disfellowshipped for I guess one would have to call it brazen conduct now. So with that he also no longer goes. He also told me his sister was disfellowshipped over 30 years ago for having premarital sex and a child and his father still will not talk to her. So much love in the Borg, anyway its fun running in to people or hearing stories how people are dropping out of this cult like crazy.
