apparently, at bethel's morning worship this morning, it was announced that all worldwide wts construction is "suspended" for an indefinite time, except for the new world headquarters at warwick.. also, the "relocation" of remote translating teams is also suspended.. finally, there will be a "worldwide" reduction in bethel personnel.. all this came to me in a non-english language, and,as noted, 4th-hand.
so it is possible something may have been lost in translation and/or in the multiple steps between bethel morning worship & me.. but if true, it would be quite stunning.

Here's the thing you raid all the money from the kingdom halls, so what's now your motivation to build or renovate when buildings like these are hard to sell and not much prophet. So you take the raided money and invest it in other places. Then do nothing for the religious side of your business hoping members will still donate and get nothing in return except the promise of paradise.
You continue to do this until the rank and file members give up and disappear. They know it's coming religion is dieing so their just going to squeeze the turnip as long as it will produce

Brooklyn Layoffs and Halt to Kingdom Hall construction projects
by James Jack ina good source just just told me that at morning worship today that the governing body announced that a total of 1600 bethelites will be let get go and not transferred to warwich when the last property is sold in brooklyn and all kingdom hall building projects are on hold for at least a year so that all the focus will be on the preaching work.

The remote translating offices is just code so they can buy houses and other real estate buildings that don't fit the kh or assembly building template and not cause ones to wake up. I don't think the intent was ever to build just buy these properties as investments.
If this is really happening then it means to me that the lawyer's realized how stupid the leaders are of the cult and stole the money.

I know of someone that requested a study on their website and never heard from anyone. Also getting rid of door to door work would make it easier for them to retain kids and attract new ones that would never sign up because they don't want to do it.
