I think they lost 140k roughly from 2014-2015 based on baptisms and average publisher numbers. When was the last time they lost so many? These numbers also maybe the reason they have shut down their construction projects.

for $1,199 i can take a tour from september 17-25. why are they printing so much bible literature if the witnesses are supposed to be using tablets?.

Watchtower crackdown on anointed expansion - are they reaching for a solution to the expanding numbers problem?

if this has been discussed i missed it.

i think the january study watchtower is a concerted attempt to reduce the numbers claiming to be anointed.

but i love the sneaky way they go about it this time.

They have marginalized the anointed for years now putting the emphasis on the faithful and discreet slave which of course is only the seven goof balls in new York. Anyway anyone at a hall that sees someone professing to be anointed just thinks that person has a screw loose.

soooo... i think the main strength of this group is having the finances to keep this con game going.

i'm hoping that the pedophilia cases are draining them dry so we can be rid of this stumbling block from an organizational stand point.

how is the constant surge of bad news getting out on them effecting the everyday person in this organization?

Problem is with all their new apps new tv programs and video's their keeping their flock as delusional as never before. Its also for many of the rank and file their only social life so they just continue on. Its really sad so many people are wasting their lives away for nothing.

Careful, the word Lord is the same as the word Baal, so yes every time you see the word lord think the word Baal when reading your bible. The big problem here is the translation of words in the bible. The word Elohim means Gods but its translated in the bible as God. Baal changed to Lord and the word Angels is put in places to infer heavenly like beings of god yet this idea is Greek and the old testament should not have this word in it. I also believe the meaning of the word Amen was changed and it actually is referring to the God Amen.
