  Suppose I ought to introduce myself.....

  i've left a couple of semi-"humorous" remarks, but not yet said a proper hello....but firstly thank you, to all, for this site and all its comments.i have been lurking on this site for 4-5 years, awake for 5-6 years and seriously fading for the last 4 years.

  i am now "out" and widely considered "out" by the congregation but due being very cautious and playing a very long game, (and having a wife who understand the repercussions of blowing the whistle on the few viewpoints i have discussed with her) i have not been df'd of da'd.

  this forum has been a crutch and guide as well as helping me wake - and the humour many on here use has been a welcome relief.

  Ideas for letter to Dr about blood card blackmail and what it means?

  following on from another op who brought to our attention the new draconian blood card policy .i'm planning on visiting my dr to discuss this issue in advance.

  i'm planning on telling her how jw's and possibly me will be blackmailed into signing this but really won't want the hlc involved and may want blood if needed.. i'm thinking about writing a letter that could be kept on file for future reference outling these issues, what do you think i should say in it?

  Atlantis posted on the other thread a copy of the card, it does not say whole blood but is very similar to the older one with the new changes.

  Is downloading Jw application dangerous?

  hi, everybody.. romor has it that here in japan, downloading jw application is dangerous because once.

  you download it, borg will know your every activity on the internet.. is this true?.

  does anybody know about that kind of thing?.

  I had jw library app want access to my pics and other things on my phone last week. When I said no it wouldn't work so I deleted it off my phone.

  Christians Know Who God Is

  many of us christians have a good question for you to ask, “who is god?” there are more than six scriptures to share with you.

  you know the bible itself a true message for all the people on earth.

  the bible explains ‘in the beginning god created everything: heaven, earth, animals, people and everything.’ thus, you notice god created humans, adam and eve.

  There are plenty of cases where the son of God becomes the new main God. The christian god is jesus son of God who is exalted to become God. Later the trinity also an ancient idea is adopted by the Christians. Everything christian was stolen from older religions mostly Egyptian.

  Three reasons why I may have to back.

  i look back over the last two years of my life with all the experiences i have read about here and other places and these are three experiences that stand out to me.

  recently in another post a girl relates her experience of being in the borg and her mom literally threw her away by giving her over to the state after she accused an elder of groping her.

  two; i met the man that wrote the insight books for the borg and even though he was at the time the brians of the borgs doctines when he faded his family , brother and his kids are shunning him.

Last but not least I ran into a co-worker a week ago and he was recruited in to another fundamentalist Christian church a few years ago from an eastern European country. He then was talked into moving to the U.S. . He then was lied to by the leader of the church and defrauded. Even though his kids know exactly what he went through and how hypocritical the church leader is they still decided to stay in the church and shun thier father and mother.

  Its painfully clear that when people give over thier beliefs to a higher power thier ability to think rationally goes out the door. It doesn't seem to even matter how wacky the beliefs are or not. Just thinking about the girls experience of having her mother throw her away her only daughter and choosing the cult over her it's painfully obvious. I don't believe there's away to get my family out of the cult from the outside. In the outside you don't matter. I had one of my kids even say this to me. My wife and I don't have a relationship anymore so that's hopeless too. It seem to me that until a person feels victimised by the cult there no hope of waking them up.

  I am thinking that the only Choice I have is to go back get in in thier good graces then start planting seeds , educate them about the bible through family worship night and try to push a more balanced aproach to life and the cult. I just don't know if I have any other option anymore.

  there are many things to question about the intelligence of the designs emanating from the yhwh/jesus intelligent design studio.. lauren reid, a phd candidate at durham university, writing in 'the conversation,' takes a look at why humans and spider monkeys are the only primates without a bone in their penises.

  most mammals have such a bone, which is called a baculum .

  humans don't, in spite of the term 'boner,' being in common usage, though whales, horses, rhinos, rabbits, elephants, marsupials and hyenas, were also designed without such a bone.. how does a baculum work?

  The female hyena has a mock penis. What's that all about, well it's probably a evolutionary left over. But hey evolution is just a big fat lie Jehovah made her that way and the reason being is um oh well I'll have to get back to you on that. Wait just stop asking questions and have faith that there is a reason.

  i am an 'active' jw but i do not agree with most of the doctrines inc blood, baptism, the memorial etc etc.i took the emblems at the memorial because i think we all should recognise and accept jesus' command to remember him.

  not for one minute do i think this is only for the so called anointed.

  i know it is full of man made error and that my fellow brothers and sisters are in a state of mindless, spiritual unawareness.

  Damascus, it's interesting that you choose that name . In both Jeremiah and Isaiah Damascus was to be destroyed never to be rebuilt. Since those writtings the city has never been destroyed. This is just one of many prophecies that didn't come true... But yeah the kingdom of God is right around the corner maybe in another 2000 years. Keep studying my friend.

  Would you be a GB member if you were asked ?

  off course you need to think back to when you were a jw to answer this question honestly and properly.but hypothetically if you had the spirituality and knowledge and was approached to be appointed as a gb member would you have taken on the position?and if you did what changes would you recommend ?.
