I think they have just lived in a bubble all thier lived and now that thier gb it's gone to thier heads a bit. Now that thier ego is stroked why would they want to change a good thing.

i know of a few adults that have this problem, schizophrenia, bi polar, ect.

by pbrow indoing a little thinking here, not really sure how the logistics work though.. lets say the link jw.org is posted here "x" number of times and numerous people click on said link.
it is my understanding the dubs can see how many hits they get from other websites but can they actually tell what websites the link is coming from?
if so..... i can picture a sunday talk given in the future... "apostate websites direct weak ones back to jehovah".

I have tried really hard to be worldly, for ten years, tried to get worldly friends, and get back with family.
by Sledracer ini am so bad at being worldly, it's not like i gave it a good try, we are just not good at it my husband and i, i see him light up as he has started to read the bible again.
i'm good at being a witness, i am accepted, and hold the same beliefs, i have tried to find somewhere else, if there is a place, why hav'n't jehovah and the angels directed me to it?
thank you for all the loving posts, some of them have been just what i needed.

My sister who is still in is going to Costa Rica as a missionary
by time2keepmoving ini left the organization in 2011 and never look back.
i left behind my sister and her two daughters by mid 2015 both her daughters (both are in their early twenties) were disfellowshipped and left the organization.
she has decided to go to costa rica as a missionary (i guess that's what they are still calling them, unless that has changed, been gone so long i don't know if they came up with a new term for it).

by new boy inthey brag about the fact that they the don' t baptize their babies because "how can a baby 'know' what religion it wants to believe in the rest of it's life!".
but a 14 year old does?.....they put so much presure on their children to get dunked, that if your not baptize by 18 years old there is something really "wrong" with you.. so the poor kid does it, just to get everyone off their backs.
legally a minor can't be held to a contract if they are under 18 years old and why?

I was 20 nobody pushed me but then again if you want to date or marry in the religion you have to be baptised so I took the plunge. Funny thing is I was never spiritual never motivated in that way. I think I was an atheist in waiting. -

Jesus is an combination of many God in the area at the time . He has atributes of baal, osiris, Marduk, horus, Salem, Ra etc. I believe he was invented and made to be like all the gods to apeal to the masses. Also if one reads the bible you'll find that Jesus teaching controdict many of the says of his so called Hebrew father Yah. Some say this is do to one of the early christian leader's Marcion who did not like the Hebrew God. His death by sacrifice is not a new idea nor was his resurrection. The idea of a trinity is also not new to Christianity nor teachings that Jesus is just like his father. Study the book of the dead and you'll find huge similarities between chritanity and this ancient Egyptian religion. Baptism , circumcision, spirit, resurrection to heaven or paradise on earth, having ones heart judge, all from ancient Egypt. -

My 14-year-old niece is being disfellowshipped
by keyser soze ini was contacted by my ex sister-in-law yesterday.
she asked me if i wanted to spend some time with my niece, while she went to her sister's baby shower.
it turns out my niece can't go because she's about to be disfellowshipped at the ripe old age of 14. .

reminds me of that artichle mentioned her on this forum that was fondled by an elder eventually couldn't take not being believed by her mom and told her she didn't want to go to meetings anymore. So the elders dfd her and her mom threw her away giving her up to the state. Its really sick how religion can have so much control over people. -

Question about the new blood card

supposing a child at age 14 decides to get baptized.
the child is then given the new blood card which has now tightened things up with respect to lawyers etc.

14 year old boy was allowed by the state of Washington to refuse blood. One can not expect a judge to have any common sense.
