  it is our experience that love of money brings action towards accumulating abundance of wealth which ultimately convinces the owner that “i was wasting my time” which in turn motivates him to turn into philanthropy (like bill gates and co did).

  this is a perfect design (designed to work independently of god) like a journey of which the first half is wasteful and the second half is fruitful, and it is to be viewed as a whole.

  hence it is unlikely that jesus would say: “it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of god.” (mathew 19:24) verse is obviously attributed to jesus by later writers.. this means question of morality is not complicated if viewed as a whole process.

  what does the bible say what happens when you die?

  when jesus was on the cross he said to the man that when he dies he will be with jesus in heaven.

  i realize that wt has got a wind fall of cash through various means.

  so my question is in the greater scheme of things is it really that much.

  for example let's say with all their real estate and cash on hand they are worth about $20 billion dollars.

  I think they got a wake up call about expenses a few years ago. Thier getting lots of cash but probably only from a few nations as others don't have the money to donate.

  I think Guy Peirce quote was really about weather or not they got a settlement from the toxic dumped they bought.

  I don't think they care for many retired JW, an ex Bethelite told me they make sure and send ones packing before they get to 65.

  Thier dramatically cutting back on expenses and don't even care about countries in places like Africa and they just plain pulled the plug on India.

  The big question is how much are all the lawsuits going to cost them?? So far they have been able to get away with thier policies but one good lawsuit and that could all change.

  in the first day elohim created light, and it was day and night in the first day.

  then in the fourth day he created the sun, the moon and the stars.

  of course, it did not actually happen, but what did the writer have in mind?.

  the elders in this area are getting burned out.

  i have overheard comments that demonstrate this, but in my dealings with them, i clearly see it.

  they can't keep it straight.

  They should just get rid of the mid week on Sunday during the talks they can bring out how to respectfully hand out fliers in thier ministry and the wt should be about half hour and be only about love for one another no more cult crap. If they did this they would probably keep more of the members from leaving.
