  Mathew 12:35—a verse of paramount importance

  jesus taught he would not use an organization on earth once he leaves the stage (mathew 7:12, 21-23; luke 6:38 …etc) this is because god respects the free-will of everyone and would not force anyone to follow certain path, which means system of things would climax in the situation described in 2tim 3:1-5.. yet those who want to lead a life of ease are not left in the lurch.

  there is a verse of paramount importance that jesus spoke of: ‘everyone acts/reacts according to his passion—beneficial or wasteful’ (mathew 12:35) which means there is no basis for certain expected response, towards your action, from others.

  this is interesting, because we often get disappointed when others do not appreciate the good we do or are not grateful to us.

  Does this make any sense “according to the number of the sons of Israel” ?

  how does god dividing humankind and fixing the boundaries of the peoples “according to the number of the sons of israel” make any sense if the nation of israel did not even exist yet?

  (genesis 10) "it makes little sense for god, shortly after he dispersed the nations at babel, to have based the number of geographical regions on the earth on the family size of israel, especially since there was no jewish race at the time (genesis 10 table of nations).

  this problem is compounded when one considers deuteronomy 32:9. what logical correlation was moses making when he wrote in verse 8 that god "set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of israel" and then made the concluding observation in verse 9 that "the lord's portion is his people, jacob his allotted inheritance" (niv)?

  Continuing congregation mergers

  in the area i live in the pacific northwest, three spanish congregations we're merged into two a couple of years ago and in the next month or so four english congregations will be cut down to three.

  both situations happened because of lack of growth.

  a few years ago, i would never have imagined spanish congregations disappearing or merging but it's happening.

  what direction does the elders manual give to start the congregations participation in shunning?

  when did you most recently see this process initiated in a hall you attend?.

  If not dfd the they’ll publicly reproved you or have a marking talk or spread a bunch of rumors. I didn’t get the marking talk and was never dfd just publicly reproved. I said nothing to know one other then the elders and only mentioned a couple of things to my wife yet the rumors were flying left and right. The way they treat people that have any issues it’s amazing any one ever goes back! I didn’t !!

  Daniel has issues of accuracy as well as the use of Greek words proving to most scholars that the book was written after the Greeks conquered Persia. Probably much later like around the 2 BCE for the writer could not even get his history right and named The wrong guy as king of Persia and got his father mixed up for his son or vice versa can’t remember which.

  Anyway the book of Daniel has lots of issues such as the statues with different mental representing different powers. Well first off the order of the metals down to the feet represent different ages of man being created in the Greek pantheon. Gold for the original men created by I believe Kronos called the golden age. After Zues creates the rest of the men on type after another until the legs of Iron men that become so strong they do away with the gods according to Greek myths. This is just more conclusive evidence that this writting we Call Daniel was heavily influenced by Greeks.

  JWs are so damn gullible a few years ago in the US a couple of sisters shot and and in another case a sister was torn to shreds by a dog yet they still go out as if some damn angel is out there to help them. Delusional just plain delusional!!!!!

  so as you all know, my wife and i are not officially df or da.. a small event happened this week that i have to share!.

  a family that we were really close to (dinners and catch ups several times a month , go out socially often, play sport together, helped them through tough times, like uncle and aunty to their kids, etc).

  the wife's father died.

  Yeah it’s truly amazing how people can turn off their brain towards someone that no longer in their cult or dfd.

  I recently told my youngest child one of the reasons why I don’t go to the Kingdom Hall. He’s about 8 and noticed he was working on creating the solar system with out planets and the sun. I used this opportunity to tell him that the Bible writers thought that the earth was flat over 50 such scriptures and that they were just a bunch of goat herders that didn’t know much.

  Did say it that way exactly but since then I’ve have noticed he’s treating me better much more in to me so to speak. I’ll be sharing more bible truths with him in the future.

  i put this under news and world events.

  because i didn't know where else to put it.. anybody interested in this subject feel free to comment a sorta satsang if you will.. do you think it is possible for one to achieve a mind state free from fear and all other negative emotional states and reach a higher plane of mental processes in encumbering the brain of processing negative emotions.. i think insight can be gained by looking at this subject psychologically and if their is a way to this nirvana state take it.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/nirvana.

  One has to ask how much of this is practiced using psychedelic drugs ? People have been using drugs for thousands of years and I can only imagine how much spiritual ideas and writings as well as practices are related to or come from the use of drugs?
