  Hello Everyone, Another JW Has Left!

  just want to introduce myself and let you know that this site is working and is a big help to lots of jws with doubts.

  i've been lurking for about a year, the first couple of times i was frightened and literally shaking visiting an apostate site but it's the only place i can come to for sanity.

  the religion has become a nut house.

  i left wt, 18 years ago.

  never thought that i would have witness such a massive doctrinal and structure changes as well.

  i find it hard to recognize that religion.. what i can tell, like all of ex jw's is that wt going down.. their corporate directors know it.

  The foreign language congregations were also created with a false sense of growth. I’m just north of where the hall was burned down in washington state. That hall had two English one Spanish and a Manderin congregation. I can tell you there’s really no need for a mandarin in that area.

  Also a relative started attending the local ASL congregation and they said most their were not deaf and very few were maybe a handful. It’s all smoke and mirrors!

  These attacks have happen in the county south of me. It would seem that there is a really pissed off person in that county. I think he has hit three different Kingdom Halls . Attempted fires and even shot at the building multiple bullets holes in that incident.

  The elders could probably look at their records to find out which dfd JW was most likely to be the one doing this but oh wait they probably destroyed all the records so authorities can’t find out about all the pedophiles , my bad.

  i came across this website when i was looking for some emotional/mental support lately as i was summoned by elders to explain someone’s report on me saying “i’m promoting homosexuality”.

  i’m inactive, not attending meetings or associating with jw outside of my biological family for almost 2 years now.. yes i am gay (you can judge away) and yes it is in a direct contrast to the scriptures, no arguement about it.. i was brought up in a jw family.

  my dad is a typical zealot, he literally talks or thinks about the bible 24/7.

  Your in a tough stop because you can’t really fake it. Your gay and that’s the truth and science has proven it not a sin it just the way it is. Maybe the only thing you can do is explain it to your parents that’s its a proven fact of life and nature. Then for the sake of your life and your happiness go live your life. Your young , the biggest regret most of us have here is we wasted away years of our lives before we figured out it was all a lie. Don’t waste your life!!!

  New Zealand Begins Selling Kingdom Halls

  the wainui-o-mata hall is closing and from 01 february they will be relocated to the 200 seater hall in newlands.

  johnsonville is merging with the wellington west congregation and will be known at wellington central also to be located in the newlands hall.

  wellington east will remain in the hall in kilbirnie at this stage but rumour has it that this hall will also be sold and they will make up the third congregation sharing the newlands hall.

  I heard that is some places the halls are being sold and people are now meeting in assembly halls. This may become the norm is places where there’s a assembly hall. They need to sell as many properties as they can not only because of the loss of members but because they don’t want thier properties in the hands of pedophile victims.

  Amelia apparently if you go on to their JW library link you can find older documents that state this but according to her nothing on the main JW.org site or any links except the library link which takes you to publications older then just a hand full of years ago. Not sure if that screen shot of JW.org is from the library link or what? Or if it’s just old internet post?

  The Cosmos an orderly created universe by a God ? or is it a chaotic universe without order or arrangement by any God ?

  or is the universe just following the natural laws of physics etc,etc.. i remember when i was "in" talks and books by the society highlighted the order of the universe went like clockwork ,sun ,moon and stars all in their relative positions and not one out of their place .. however the advancement in science of the universe / astronomy shows a much more different picture that demonstrates a more chaotic realism of what actually goes on out their in this vast universe .. black holes , which can merge together , galaxies colliding and merging together , large meteors ,some of which have crashed here on earth ,supernovas ,stars being born and stars in their death throes .. just some of the things off the top of my head ,apparently their are many more.. i look forward to comments and some good book to read on the subject..

  Can we ever get our loved ones out?

  a post on another thread got me to thinking and writing.. should we even be trying to get our loved ones out of jehovah's witnesses?.

  when a person truly believes in their belief system, or even if they don't but have held to that system for a long time, there is nothing we can say that will move them from that system.. why?

  perhaps pride.

  I have come to the conclusion that one has to become a victim of the cult to finally wake up. Even people that have experience a bunch of different hypocrisy’s before they wake often are still a victim. The other thought is those that are considered Mavericks or rebels will often wake up before others or just plain leave because they can’t handle the rules etc.

  I and I’m betting most of you fall into these same categories. We had a hard time towing the line maybe something about the policies didn’t set well with you, then you became a victim in one way or another. Someone mistreated, or you were lied to or wrongly dfd in your opinion etc.

  In my case I was already showing a rebellious spirit years before I woke up when I took a dfd young mother into my home. Then years later under a lot of stress what helped to wake me , I heard Lett admit they lied about 1975. Realizing what I heard and already having doubts do to the stress I was under I realized I was a victim of their lies. Then I became more of a victim when I voiced my concerns and some doubts.

  So i think someone has to be of a similar personality and then be victimized if not if their happy they’ll never wake up. And if their not happy and not to much of a rebel maverick then they’ll stay even if they continue to be victimized unless outright dfd. The dfding process is so extreme that this will help non Maverick types also to wake up. Of course there always and exception to the rule, And it just my opinion. But there it is and that’s why they call me crazy.
