Yeah I like how they say they are god channel and we should all join them if we want to live in gods kingdom, yet were not supposed to then judge them at this same higher standard? Yeah right!

Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT false prophets
by SloppyJoe intonight on the service meeting we discussed why jws are not false prophets.
of the ten minute part two were spent discussing that jws just had wrong expectations and only very minor changes over the years although nothing specific was mentioned.
the other eight focused on the core bible truths that have remained the same over the years.

At the mouth of 2-3 witnesses a matter is established .Gods word the bible proves a generation is 50 years +, or - 5 years
by smiddy injehovah`s witnesses make a big deal about the 2 or 3 witnesses in judicial decisions yet they ignore that evidence when it suits them.. firstly :.
regarding the length of a generation matthew ch.1:17 gives a strong clue ,their are 3 lots of 14 generations mentioned which equal 42 generations from the time of abraham to jesus .. watchtower publications give abrahams birth as 2018 bc......they also give jesus birth as of 2 bc a period of 2016 years .
2016 yrs.

Did Jesus ever shunned anyone?
by UBM101 inhttp://www.jehovahs-witness.net/watchtower/beliefs/258772/1/shocking-talk-from-2013-district-convention-urges-parents-to-shun-disfellowshipped-children.
i am sick to my stomach after watching this video by cedars.
that pharisee stephen bell said we should follow the example of jesus but did jesus ever shun anyone in the bible?.

Jesus said to love your enemies and even in thessalonians paul said to keep admonishing them as a 'brother' If one is kicked out of the religion and never talked to, how can he still be your brother? So clearly the JW's have it wrong.

Is The WTS Building Beth Sarim 2 ?
by metatron ini continue to puzzle over the future direction the watchtower is taking.
it seems very strange.. let's review: they are selling everything off in brooklyn, raking in huge sums from that real estate and building heavily in a fairly isolated part of upstate ny.. why?.
it may be classified as a country club (legally).

I think like everyone else here that its a new San Diego for them. I have read that in NY some of the living places for the GB are a bit cramped. So why not sell and take the money, then rebuild in a new cheaper place and this time make sure that the living facilities for the GB are much nicer.

The final chapter in the confusedandalone story...
by confusedandalone inthis morning i get a frantic call from my sister (who has been baptized 1 year and one month and never attends meetings anymore).
in tears she tells me that this morning my father picked her up in the car and told her that i was am apostate.
that i no longer loved jehovah and that i was going to be disfellowshipped.

Just show everyone you can that the GB denys the rank and file the messiah and if you want to add to it, show them how we don't even get baptized properly. Then if you want add that is they read John 6;47-53 it says 'anyone' that eats will have life and the word 'anyone' is used several times.

Was Your Leaving The Witnesses A Very Gradual Process Or A Quick One?
by minimus infor me, it took many years.. even when i would read all the changes over the years from the "truth", i still would ignore it and "wait on jehovah" and try to be a positive force in the congregation.. eventually, i just couldn't take it anymore and resigned as an elder, and slowly but surely made my fade.. what about you?
were you out, in a short or longer time?

I grew up in it but was never really that spiritual. Always had that nagging doubts about why would a god of love kill everyone thats not a JW just because they may have rejected a 5 minute presentation at the door or never even heard of JW's. Then a couple of years ago with the economy being toast and looking to find work went to another state far from my family. While there and even before was trying to be more spiritual, not missing meetings and service etc.
In this other state going to a DC one of the GB in his talk mentioned that right before 1975 many at Bethel thought 75 was it and he did not and they accused him of apostate thinking. Well bamb he just admitted that 1975 was a bigger deal than they had said so I started researching it trying to stay away from outright apostasy websites. Then I thought well if these men were really not anointed then that would explain all their mistakes but not necessarily mean the ORg was wrong just imperfect men.
Then after returning home from the other state I started studying the book of Revelations with a friend, the bible book not the JW book. But i would go to that book to help me for the Bible book and it became hard to stomach the stuff in it. I could not agree that the bible would have prophecies in it about us and our little conventions etc. how arrogant i thought. But while studying with this friend and realizing that the men in New York were majorly imperfect i really became interested in the bible. While reasurching the bible I came across the 2001translation.com website and all it wonderful info. There is where i first got a clue about the JW understanding of the Mediator and the New Covenant and after doing a thorough research and destroying the JW's ideas on those subjects the house of cards all fell down and I'm done.

A Phone Call With Watchtower Headquarters on Baptism
by raymond frantz ina phone call with watchtower headquarters on baptism .
i would like to say i big well done to jwstruggle for his consistent battle against the wt .this video is worth watching ,as the baptism issue is i think one of the greatest issues today in the jw deceptions of their flock .it shows also that these guys are not interested in listening or changing one thing about their doctrines or policies .they are happy to carry on disfellowshiping people for as long as it takes to silence the opposition .thousand of families will in effect break down.
sadly this is a self serving machine that will not stop for no one .talking to them ,try to reason with them is a pure waste of time .. do you want results ?if you 're still in .

I like how the elder starts talking that baptism is really more than it is and then he mentions the name Jehovah and how few christians use it and i guess in his mind get baptised with it. But does the bible say get baptised in the jehovahs name, no and did the apostles baptized in the name of the father no. In Fact many bible scholars say that the scripture in matt 28 that says in the name of the father the son and holy spirit was a scripture changed to help imply or promote the idea of the trinity.

Need Advice On Shunning My Dying Dad, Please Advise!
by AuntConnie indear jwn,.
when i was out in field service yesterday i was approached by some sisters asking me how my dying dad was doing.
i said "i try not to visit him, you will have to ask him yourself.

This may be fake but it does provide a serious point. That is a lot of JW's act this way, they will take the help from people like this dad and all is well but then the dad helps someone else not a JW and misses meetings and all of a sudden this dad is not worthy of this womans effections any more. In all reality this happens all the time in JW land.

Feedback. I got some inspiration
by never a jw inwhen i found the following quote in another thread of the watchtower of november 2013 all of a sudden i got the push and the ideas to do something to denounce jehovah's witnesses as a dangerous religion.. at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.
all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound... or not.
(4) now is the time for any who may be putting their trust in secular education, material things, or human institutions to adjust their thinking the elders must stand ready to help any who may now be wavering in their faith.

I think giving it out to other religious groups would be a good idea, not only to help potential JW's but to help keep ones from their congregations from joining.
