read a chaapter or more per week to your kids as a fimily study. Start with one of the gospels and then go on to acts, romans, etc. As you read let the kids ask questions as time goes on it should become clear that the bible and the ORG. don't mesh.

Crap....help please
by DS211 inso tonight my wife looked iver the wt for tomorrow.
she said what she got out of it was that apostates are negative murmurers who can cause you to question jehovah and his earthly org and that it reminded her of the negativity caused when i told her i read ray franz's book.
she said it caused me to question service, family worship night, and praying together.

once for the changed situation (or loss) and another time for expecting to make progress in getting over it.. the 1969 book on death and dying by elisabeth kubler-ross introduced us to the kubler-ross model , commonly referred to as the " five stages of grief.
" they are very helpful, but the original idea of the book and the hypothesis was that when a person is faced with the reality of impending death , he or she will experience a series of emotional stages: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.. it isn't always the case, but those stages are often felt by terminally ill patients.

It does really suck that when someone leaves this evil religion that people/family don't even seem to care or want to know why. They move on as if nothing if nothing is wrong except the person that left and thats it. My kids don't ever asked why and my wife doesn't say anything and of course the so called loving friends that loved you so much when you were there don't come by either. Its just bizarre.

but now, after seeing much about this date, i find it uncomfortable and odd to believe it unquestionably, much less defend it against opposing thoughts.

Prologos I must be wrong but I read about this kingdom of love while researching the new covenant and mediator subject and I thought that's how they explained away all the scriptures that blow up 1914. If I'm wrong then how do they explain them all away?

Personally I like Ephesians 1:20-23 it hits the nail clearly on the head, the jw religion had to make up another kingdom to try to explain away all the scriptures that blow up their 1914 crap. They call it the kingdom of love.

One of the flaws I see in his reasoning is the claim that they made up this story to try to put down the Jewish movement or spread of it. I don't remember anywhere in my study of history the spread of Jewish religion or their rebellion. It was put down by the Romans at cost yes but fear of spreading or growing so we must make up a story, I don't think so. Also if this was a strategy then why did so many Roman rulers then kill peace loving Christians.

you know the one thing that indicates jehovah's blessing upon the worldwide association of kingdom proclaimers, is not only the continued success of the preaching work, but along with it the unity and love amongst the brothers and sisters.

dis-member bas it right, their love is totally condition and all inclusive. We had a young sister that was studying going to all the meetings, also a older one doing the same. The young sister to be was pretty much homeless able to sleep in her dads truck but that's it and the older study was in a bad abusive home. Only the young sister was offered a place to stay before she got baptised, by me and my family. The other older study no such luck, not until she got baptized. So both if it wasn't for me would have been out of luck until baptized from the loving congregation. They knlyove thier own and only if thier compliant. What a joke!

My bible study last night...holy hell
by DS211 inso last night was my weekly bible study with my wife my friend/elder and his wife.
well like many still asleep the first thing that we talked about was what intrested us about the agm..so the elder goes into the things like how exciting it is and loves all the added crap in the appendixes and the info in the front beause its straight from gods word.
i thought "didnt someone say you shouldnt add anything or take anything away?

Next week you should ask more about these anoited ones, then bring up all the scriptures like in Romans and James that says there no distinction. Romans chapter 8 where it says that if you do not have the spirit then u don't have chrsit at all. Then ask isn't the anointed also refured to as the sons of gods and brothers of Christ? Then go to 1john 5:1 and Galatians 3:25-27 Matt. Chapter 12 were the all say pretty much that all Christians are gods sons. So then ask why do the jw's controdict this thought since its right there in the bible?

Well Stand for pure worship, I was lied to for over 40 years believing that the JW religion was Gods chosen channel. They lied to me about Who are Sons of God. They lied about who and who was not shown in heaven and who goes to heaven in Chapter 7 of Revelations. They lied about 607bce. They lied about several other topics in the bible too. So i'll take a motley crue of individuals telling it like it is our how they feel over a bunch of liers any day!!!

in those two months, i have learnt a ridiculous amount of jw history and i now have insight on how humongous of a scam the jw's are.
at first, maybe even a year ago, i would have thought, yeah... the apostates have half-truths and they utilize some truths and then lie about the rest.. well, for the benefit of all the lurkers in here: trust the apostates!

I too had a chance to see several of the older books at my hall to confirm things. I have also been able to meet one of the writers of books like the insight books etc. It interesting to find out that just about all the writers of materials from the 70 and early 80's are all no longer members, that says something.
