  Where is Reinhard Lengtat?

  sorry for the posting error below.. my wife is reading crisis of conscience now.

  this is good news because i know i will have someone to talk to when im caught and dfd.

  but in her reading she is recognizing most of the names ( we were there at bethel during the 70s as a married couple) and asked what happened to reinhard lengtat?

  He is a private man that still spends a lot of time dealing with the Bible. He wants his privacy, I will say one thing, he is way smarter then anyone at bethel concerning the Bible.

  Hope the court hears the case then over turns the lower court. I can see Conti loosing on several points, but this idea that the wbts has some first amendment right and therefore doesn't have to warn people is just evil and can open up a can of worms for all sorts of issues if the cult wins.

  i think the greek is saying that this healing was jesus second sign, and he did this one after he had come from judea into galilee.

  Terry u need to ask Bart why Jesus why did they pick this name. The gospel writers seamed big on having Jesus accomplish prophecies yet they don't call him Immanuel. So was the Greek word for Jesus used to tie him with another God or what? I know that some Jews worshiped a god known as Helios and the Christians from Alexander were pushing Serapis but I haven't connected the dots of why the name Jesus in Greek?

  it can be anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes!

  as long as you've had a literature discussion three times, you can start counting it as a study.

  first, they say you can now count only 15 minutes a month.

  The thing is there's probably more then 2 million but they are probably having to survive as if there was only this amount. Most JW's donate very little if anything at all.

  It was pretty traumatic for me learning it was all a fraud and I was only in my 40s. I think and 80 old would probably have a heart attack a die. I do know some 70 year olds that figured it out but it was a slow go for them and maybe easier for them to adjust.

  Which Steve Hassan book?

  can anyone recommend which steve hassan book to read, i see there are 3.. my mind is all over the place during this process of finally acknowledging and researching my doubts, ive been recommended his books on here, but which one is best?.

  There's some evidence that the life story of Jesus was modeled after Apolinius of Tiana and the god aspects were a copy of Serapis. Then the whole big picture was a copy of Marduks rising up to conquer the Dragon and becoming supreme God.

  There's a old gnostic writing that seams to indicate that there may have been a guy but there's know way to be sure. This writing seams to be from family member's and again like you said both James and Jude do not speak of Jesus as the son of god.

  I think the biggest inflation of numbers that matter is the number of JW's. When you take out the kids and husbands that go to just support thier stupid wives, there's less then I'd say 5 million real dubs.
