  Its really weird

  i tried testing my family by mentioning that a member of the gb was summoned to appear in front of the royal commission and i found it really weird how they reacted.they dismissed it saying its just satan attacking the 'truth' and i could not believe how ignorant they are.they all think that the organization did nothing wrong or even that jw's abuse their children.

  Something terrible has just happened

  the neighbor child came over to play with my youngest child.

  i think she's about 4 maybe 5. well anyway there was some strawberries out on the counter and she asked if she could have one and i said no.

  when i looked over later i saw her sneak one.

  Jesus The Perfect Reflection Of The Father?

  so this week's wt study was all about jesus and the miracles he performed.

  according to the study this proves that god wants to heal mankind in the same way.

  because as we all know jesus is a perfect reflection of his heavenly father.

  There are plenty of scripture s were Jesus contradicts the teachings of the old testament gods . Jesus even tells the Jew's in John chapter 8 that they don't know his father. I think that Marcion who did not liken the god of the old Testament made moves to make sure this was not the father of Jesus. Jesus was modeled after the god Serapis I believe and his father was the father of the Sun, Ra. Ra and his son the Sun Amen become one AmenRa. Jesus and his father become one. But there are plenty of sprinklings of Sumerian, Babylonian religious teachings mixed in. Jesus fights the dragon defeats death and gets exalted to the highest position over all the other gods. Same as Marduk and Baal Hadad.

  i usually open posts such as this one with disclaimer for the atheists/agnostics out there.

  i respect your position and what i tried to do in posts like this one is discuss the bible, wether you believe the stories or not.. i believe it is well known that in jw doctrine it is thought that no one has ever seen god.

  this teaching is also supplemented by the accounts of moises, where jehovah told him that no one can see him and yet live to tell the tale.. i, however, was always puzzled by some of the grammar in the bible where it seems to imply that god appeared to people.

  by the branch overseer and other elders in australia, they gave a fine witness.. so what will happen, they will tell their friends the brothers in australia gave a fine.

  i always sit in the same spot, just outside starbucks in a vestibule area with a table in the air-conditioned space.

  i say "always," but not today.. somebody with two laptops and a table filled with business ledgers was in "my" favorite spot!.

  so, i took a tiny wooden table inside the coffee shop on a long padded bench next to 3 other identical tables.. as the clickbait banner ads like to say: "and what happened next was simply unbelievable!".

  Just a funny thing to me, that I found out last week

  so the head of the elders the cobe or whatever their called was the one who talked with me when i had doubts.

  or i should say came running when my wife called the elders on me.

  he while not really looking at my 10+ page document proving one of their major doctrines wrong and trying to find out my true motives.

  Just an update: the girl of the elder is baptized moved out and then moved in with her worldly boyfriend. Ok so she's not going to meetings from what I hear and is not in the same congregation as her parents anymore, but she has not been DF'd either. What the hell!? I know of a brother that was DF'd for just having a female friend that he would go out with and hang out with etc. but never laid hands on her. What's going on, are they letting ones alone if their not active now or what? Or is this just because its the elders daughter?

  Leaving the org and marriage possibly ending

  i was raised a witness, baptized at 16, vacation pioneered, got married, etc.

  i was very much your typical witness and believed it was the truth until last summer.

  a very close relative of mine left the witnesses.

  If your marriage is about to bust then why not go for the throat so to speak. Bring out all the child molestation issues and show him the documents, nothing from an apostate web site but from other sources. then show him sweet little scriptures that he will not be able to deny.

  Like John 20:25 where it says nails showing Jesus was killed on a cross not a stake. Or even Rev. Chapter 20 were it does not say anything about a new scrolls being opened. Show him in the Greek interlinear Rev. 5:10, there its doesn't say they will be Kings and that they will be on the earth. Then back up to verse 9 have him read then flip over to Rev.7:9 have him read this and see that it the great crowd that's being talked about not just the 144.

  Ask him how the bible is apostate? Or is it really his religion? Ask him what his understanding of the good news of the kingdom is? Then show him 1Corth. chapter 15 and Galatians chapter 1 where it states that Jesus , is the good news, Not a government or anything else the JW's say.....
