This case because they refuse to hand over documents the court already knows they have because they handed them over before but heavily redacted, is the icing on the cake! This case shows thier evil plain and simple. They try to hide the fact that thier evil by saying they abhor child abuse but they will not cooperate with the courts, proving thier liars. This is the real chance people have to show thier family's who these people really are!! This case need to be talked about written about YouTube about shouted about!! There's no excuse anyone can use to justify their actions here plain and simple!! It's time to let them have it all guns blazing!!!

A sister I knew has passed away: I may go to the funeral

we weren't friends, but back in the days, she, and her family, were among the people i would always talk to at the hall and assemblies.
she was the type of sister that was kind and probably had more love to share than most people i know.

I went to a funeral last year for the same reasons, in the end they give you crazy looks and it just turns into an infomercial like you said. It's not worth it I only went because close family was going and it would look really bad if I didn't go.

Are gays really condemned in the Bible?

my point is that while they are horrible people, they are pretty much right in that the bible is against gays because it has verses in both the old and the new testament.
which is one of many reasons to reject the bible as merely man-made rules from ancient middle-easterners.. and she argued that there are problems in translation, etc.

Just whip out John chapter 3 and ask them how they think thier going to ever see the kingdom when Jesus says only those born again will? Then read 15 where he says that every one that believes in him has life and ask them why they call Jesus a liar because they teach that only jws will have life?
Then if they still wish to proceed ask them if they believe the writer of second Timothy was inspired , when they say yes turn to 1timothy 2 starting in verse 5 where it says Jesus was the mediator for all mankind and the read on to show he was the ransom for all as well. Then ask , since your leaders say Jesus is only the mediator and ransomed for just them but the bible says all mankind , they must be liars again right?

seems to me that god made sure that both that his personal name does not appear therein and that no one would ever actually know it or learn even how to pronounce it.

I believe early Christians were making Jesus the new God. He was exalted and became the alpha and omega. Many Gods in other pantheons were lesser gods then promoted to top spot. Other gods once they assumed the top spot also took on the attributes of the gods they replaced. Horus got RAs power when his mother tricked RA. Marduk just took the power and absorbed the other gods so to speak. Zeus was another good example.
