  ok so this is a topic i've pondered and go back and forth on.. i can easily see a point where lawsuits cause massive deficits in the organization.

  honestly i feel like we are seeing the tip of the iceberg in regards to lawsuits on child abuse.

  to me it looks like the property sell offs are to be able to get ready for this.

  It’s easy go to jwfacts and see how there missing IE not there from year to year. Example 100,000 members in year 1980 with 20,000 baptized yet the next year 1981 120,000 and another 20,000 baptized and the next year 20,000 more baptized should be a total of 160, 000 yet there only 135,000. Just an example but again go to JWfacts.com

  sure one can argued dead ones and dfd ones but to many gone to be of those reasons only.

  They dont have 8 million members they claim 8 million peak publishers. The evidence says others wise. Take the number of baptized one from year to year and you’ll soon realize their missing members in to tune of several hundred thousand per year. JW facts does a nice break down of these missing ones. Even with the dfd ones and the dead ones it still doesn’t add up to how many are missing. Some one once did a count year by year of baptisms from about 1950 or 60 and showed there are more ex dubs then active ones.

  Take out the kids not baptized and all the missing ones and you have less then 5 million baptized members maybe even less then 4 million.

  According to some on YouTube and other websites they the Borg have lost 321 congregations and 135 Kingdom Halls over the last twelve years in Germany alone. Ofcourse the cult still publishes a growth in that country of members in that same time period. It doesn’t take a genius to smell a rat! Their numbers are bunk and have been monipulated since 1978 in my opinion.

  Yes no collapse as of yet but a huge downturn in members yes! Their constant begging for money and other things we’ve seen done by them over the last few years indicates to me that these loses have come home to roost!

  PEW confirms my statement about JW income. Thier statistics about ones coming in have been discussed before and people have shown that after baptism there’s ones missing from their statistics year after year adding up to about Million per decade.

  Again most kids males now don’t leave the home until 26 and I’ve seen plenty of evidence that kids in the cult can’t afford to leave mommy and daddy’s house. Their living in their garages or on a trailer on the property or just in the house. I mean how can they afford to move out their broke! Times are getting tougher and tougher for the young ones and it’s even worse for the JW kids.

  so i roll up to the job site and looky there, two uber pioneer dubs dragging themselves down the sidewalk.

  both ladies are in there early 60's and born in.. my heart started pumping, but i had to act.i was directly across the street from them.

  i walked right to the sidewalk and said in a very loud, but not mean voice: "you can't teach overlapping generations from the bible!!

  I often post some crazy idea on Reddit, like trying to get my wife dfd for breast feeding my kids when there’s tons of white blood cells in milk. The responses I get are that I’m crazy I’m stupid I’m a jerk etc etc. But here’s the Rub all I’m doing is coming up with an ideas that just shows how crazy thier doctrines are and I’m attacked for it by ones in the Ex community.

  So if it makes you feel better to yell at JWs go right ahead ! Each person is effected differently by the cult. So yell baby YELL!!!

  According to thier own statistics they loose over a million members every decade. This was sustainable years ago but not anymore. There just not enough new ones coming in. Add to the mix that 50% of JW families in the US make a combined income of less then 30,000 per year.

  They may not be hurting for money anymore but that’s do to cut backs and downsizing not donations. What’s really sad is the young ones that seem to stay are so reliant on their parents. Thier just so ingnorant they can’t make it on their own so they stay with mommy and daddy. In the future whole families , 3 and 4 generations of family will still be living together, which is uncommon in the USA.

  does anyone else feel overwhelmed on what to believe?.

  i've been doing lots of research on beliefs, evolution, creationism but i feel no further forward about what i truly believe.

  for example i looked at the fossil record and tiktaalic and thought great it proves a lot but then i've seen counter arguments on youtube of people basically saying its a load of rubbish and doesn't prove anything.

  Here is just a few facts. Dinosaurs had bone cancer and killed each other for food. Amber with insects stuck in it prove spiders and bees were deadly having stingers and biters 100,000s of years ago a most likely even farther back.

  Black holes look to be confirmed. And we know star light coming from distant galaxies are millions of years old. Humans have been proven to be over 6000 years old yes proven not speculation. Just look at the cave art in Indonesia.

  So with that being said the Bible has been proven to be nothing more then a book of mythology, infact many of the stories in it are based off of older stories dating back over a thousand years before any bible manuscript were created. One such story the Noah flood story not only comes from Sumeria but has been proven by Ice core samples , tree ring dating and Egyptian archaeology to have never have happened. These are just three ways they have proved that this event never happened there are other methods.

  Anyway hope this helps helps your faith.
