  Why are ugly people bad?

  when i was a pre-teen i became aware of how someone?s looks at birth made such an impact on their lives.

  first by the fact that all the bad guys in movies were ugly and the good guys were handsome.

  i would wonder why ugly people were bad or was it that bad people became ugly?

  When I was a pre-teen I became aware of how someone?s looks at birth made such an impact on their lives. First by the fact that all the bad guys in movies were ugly and the good guys were handsome. I would wonder why ugly people were bad or was it that bad people became ugly?

  It then became easy to notice that if you are attractive you are treated with more respect, kindness and courtesy. When you are treated this way you can only feel better about yourself and end up with more confidence and self esteem. Certainly there are exceptions, but on a whole I think this to be the case.

  Back then I thought it would be ultimately fair if our looks truly reflected our personality. Like some "magic spell" being case so that as someone treats others with respect, kindness and courtesy that their own features would change and they would become beautiful on the outside - as they were on the inside. And vice versa.

  After all what could be a better motivator to be a good person? As you see yourself being a jerk your features would become more monstrous and as you changed your approach toward people, it would change.

  I know this is corny. But why are the bad guys ugly? Would you like to see a ?magic spell? cast so that whatever people were on the inside is what they look like on the outside?

  ( I think this is one reason why BB like this are great, we see each other more from the inside. )

  I went to the assembly today, fun!

  ok, mike and i went to the circuit assembly today at the mca at the university of maine (where i go to school).

  we made it through the first half and it went faster than i thought.. .

  this is me and my friend jenn (another ex-jw) the night before the assembly at 10:30pm getting drunk before heading out to the bar where we got really drunk and danced and had a great time.

  UPDATE: Good News About Nancy . . .

  just stopping in to say hi and i?m ok. thanks to those who sent concerned emails.. update on nancy: she is going through counseling at a voluntary facility where she will remain for another 1.5 weeks.

  we visit her often and she is very homesick by now.

  she is looking forward to a fresh start, which we are all working hard to give her.

  Home theater speaker question

  i am about to start wiring my house for home theater speakers and i'm wondering what type of jack i should install in the wall behind the tv.

  i've noticed all sorts of speaker jacks that are available and i have no idea which ones i should use..

  hi gang, .

  i went to visit my parents last weekend, taking my lovely wife and her mother (who is visiting us from overseas and happens to be a sincere devout catholic and a wonderful person, and speaks almost no english).

  recently my mother mentioned (via telephone) that she wished my father would buy a new computer (theirs is a vintage 1987 ibm ps/2 25 mhz) so at the last minute i decided to give them one of the old ones i have sitting around, complete with 17" monitor -- a kind of "peace offering".

  Well your site helped me. When my had would almost shake for fear of visiting apostate sites and I found yours I was fascinated to be reading only WT Quotes which confirmed what I was suspecting. How could Jehovah be guiding and editing the WT with these mistakes and lunacy going on?
