Is it wrong to be proud of achievements?

okay, where i work is a call center and i do sales, along with customer service.
for the last five years, out of 2500 representatives online nationally, i have been number one in sales for all months and years.

One thing that is an HR no-no is discussing wages. I know of companies in this area that will dismiss employees who reveal how much they make to others, it's considered confidential. I don't know if that is wrong, very wrong, okay or right. Just saying. So whatever you do in the future I would never discuss how much you make or the wages of potential jobs with coworkers.
On the other hand CONGRATS on being good a what you do and getting the bottom line reward for it. AND behind closed doors I would suggest that if they are embarrassed by your trophies that they gave you - perhaps they shouldn't be giving such big trophies to their best employees. -

It's easy to pocket $$$$$$$$ while doing the collection process.
At my insistance we started a two person policy for collecting money back in the 80's - but not because anyone suspected anyone, but for appearances sake. I found the brothers and sisters very faithful in this regard.

What was the funniest thing you read on JWD last year?

Gumby's "NutSack Shinning Service" was pretty damn funny and some of Mary's "cross out the real meaning" posts put me a laughing
