  I lost my job at Microsoft today...thanks to a wonderful economy...

  for the last few years, many of my friends have lost their jobs and have not found suitable replacements.

  most are on unemployment, and those whose unemployment has run out are simply eeking out some meager existence doing something they don't like, that doesn't pay well, and doesn't help to really reduce the stress they face every day.. well, to be honest, i used to laugh my ass off at them.

  ha ha ha i would say.

  DolphinMan, quit whinning.

  Hope you find a better job soon to Farkel. Doesn't sound like you could get a worse one. By the way what line of computer/software/consulting were you in?

  Dolph, I am sorry you lost you job. Really that sucks, but I have to wonder what any president really does about the economy.

  Fact: The recession started while Clinton was in office.

  Fact: It wasn't Clinton's fault

  Fact: We came out of the recession on Bush's watch

  Fact: It wasn't Bush's doing.

  You worked for a company so rich and dominant that it could buy Greece.

  Microsoft isn't touched by either Clinton or Bush and I can't believe it was the economy that caused them to drop whatever product or dept that they cut.

  Blame MS not [insert Current President here]

  Two Witnesses Rule hypocrisy

  isn't it interesting that if two people see someone leaving someone?s house at 5am, thus they stayed all night, that is grounds for dfing.

  (see elder's book)

  yet, when a child says something happened - even if it can be verified that the person was alone with the child at the time - unless there are two witnesses to the actual crime nothing can happen in the way of dfing.

  Yet, when a child says something happened - even if it can be verified that the person was alone with the child at the time - unless there are two witnesses to the ACTUAL CRIME nothing can happen in the way of DFing.

  Why do you have to "see the actual molestation" in the case of a child, but don't have to "see the actual fornication" in the case of an adult?

  Just wondering.

  Wish I had thought of this when I was an elder.

  Hey you NFL fans. I've had about 5 people PM me that they would like to join the FFL and the info is sent to them and they have yet to join.

  This leaves 3 teams to be filled. So if you want to play and I've sent you the info (and I hope you do) setup your team. If you haven't PM'd me about joining and want to join PM me and I'll send you the info.

  Those who are in look like they are serious.

  How do you handle JWs interacting with your children?

  i'll probably end up having kids in the near future, and i would not want my mother preaching to my children.. so, i must ask, how do you handle your jw relatives who try to preach to your children?

  I WOULD NEVER ALLOW ANY JW TO INTER ACT WITH ANY OF MY CHILDREN. THEY ARE FREAKS WITH WITH EXTREMLY DESTRUCTIVE AND DANGEROUS BELIEFS.

  4 Teams are set up and I've sent out 5 or 6 PM's to people who plan on doing it so we should have about 3 openings left.

  Well Simon, Randy et al. This is a keeper isn't it. What a nice thing to post True North. Not presuming to speak for them I'm sure they are thrilled that you found their sites helpful. Almost everyone here is in the same boat so be sure to stick around and help the next guy who has been out for 20 years, but still suffering.
