That was a nice post, Lisa. May I change the "ugly" sweater to "pretty" sweater? And, really, this is one day of the year to give and get gifts, to be happy as a family, have a nice big meal together, and what is wrong with that for goodness sake. Yes, I know, Christmas is pagan, but there are lots of prophecies in the Bible that are plagarized from the pagans. No, I haven't researched it myself, but I read the articles from those that have. "Changing water into wine", and "the loaves and the fishes"- ugh. I'm facing it, I've been scammed by the WTS for 40 years. Love you guys.

There are many programs out there for women in your situation. Go to the DHS in the area and they will help you with food stamps, child care, housing, maybe education. Other people have been helped, so why not you? Then when you can get a little stability and a little time under your belt, you can make a good decision as to your parents and child visitation. I went from door to door AND to the convention site last week!
by Anony Mous inlast week i went from door to door, i actually got suggested to go to this territory.
my daughter was with me as well, she is used to going from door-to-door with her mother i suppose so i got her into a dress, got dressed up myself, told her about a simple introduction to use and how to politely go away from someone's door.
i got some really great responses!

must get housing on your own / from the locals.. circuit and district overseers have moved into many of these former missionary homes.. reasons: liability, cost savings, real estate to be sold or used for other purposes.. needless to say, many of these longtime servants are very unsettled.
