the Wt Study last Weekend
by thedog1 ini wasn't at the study at the weekend, the reason was family health problems, but even if that had not been the case i wouldn't have been there.
has anybody else who was there or read the article noticed the unbelievable begging bowl being produced for the pioneers and cos and bethelites, etc?
maybe this has been commented on already but in effect witnesses are being asked to financially support, not only pioneers, but circuit overseers if they need medical help, and to fill in with dealing with aged parents if missionaries are abroad.

zodiac and the bible
by Crazyguy ini have seen and read plenty of stuff on the net that implies many of the things in the bible are actually refuring to the zodiac.
one example would be that in the new testament the 'end of the world' phrphrase is actually a miss translation and it should say 'end of the age' and that this age that is being talked about is the change to the new sign of the zodiac which occurred at about 125 ad to the sign of picees.
has anyone done any extensive research on this theory that ma y things referred to in the bible is actually talking about the zodiac signs etc.

I haven't done any research on it, but i listened intently to a podcast given by one that did research it thoroughly. Off the top of my head I remember him saying that every 2500 years the zodiac sign changes. The last 2500 we were living under Pisces. That's why the churches have a sign of the fish, and Jesus fed the multitude with2 fishes, and so forth. The age we're going into now is Acquarius. I don't know when, he didn't say, and I don't know what it means as to what is supposed to happen, but it sure would be worth a study. And especially sun worship. The Bible and Jesus are all about sun worship. If you want to hear the podcast, I can look it up and tell you where to find it. Acquarius has something to do with water.

I wake up at during feeling so bad that I made my 2 little boys, now men, go to the Kingdom Hall with me. They did not want to go at all, but I made them. I took their birthdays away from them, I took their Christmases away from them, I took their friends away from them. How do these poor people bear it when they made their children go with them to the Kingdom Hall and out in service and into the arms of a pedophile!

Those guys tried to herd me more than once, and when I saw the topic I thought maybe I wasn't the only one so they're having elder meetings now on it. Too late, though. As for my spanx I'm going to mail them to New York and tell them they don't know what they missed by not seeing me in them.

by stuckinarut2 inseriously, i am so thankful that the org has officially allowed the use of ipads and tablets at the kingdom hall!.
it is the only thing that keeps me sane while sitting there....being able to log on to this site while pretending to follow along with the program!.
i think i would have literally lost my mind without this lifeline!.

I had a workmate that wouldn't use Apple products because it represented the apple in the garden of Eden that Eve took a bite of. So you see, Jehovah's Witnesses are not the only crazy religious people.

Throw Out Your Blood Cards!
by Coded Logic inex-jehovah's witness bled to death after surgery .
in 2006, riddell signed a declaration that she did not want to be given blood during any medical procedure because of her jehovah's witness beliefs, even if healthcare providers believed that it was necessary to preserve her life.. she later stopped practising the religion but her brother told hill she maintained the declaration because she had researched the use of blood transfusions and made an informed decision not to receive any blood.. riddell opted for the surgery after being diagnosed with symptomatic gallstones, hill said.. parry met with riddell before the surgery but did not discuss receiving blood with her as he told hill the chances of someone bleeding during the surgery were less than one per cent.. that meant the surgery began at wairau hospital at 9am without parry knowing about the declaration, although his anaesthetist did.. it was originally supposed to be a keyhole only surgery, but parry made the decision to go to an open surgery as he could not access the gall bladder through the keyhole technique.. during the surgery there was a small amount of bleeding, which parry was unconcerned about.. the surgery finished at 11.15am and parry went away to perform another surgery.
during that time, riddell's blood pressure dropped and fluids increased.. the anaesthetist visited parry during his surgery and told him "we have a problem, she's bleeding.

Niveau, yes the secretary or whomever is at the desk takes the card and puts it on the copier machine and copies it. Absolutely. And they write it down that client is one of Jehovah's Witnesses and does not want a blood transfusion, or whatever words you used as they write it down word for word. I'm glad the health professionals that know you are aware of your change of mind, but to cover their own selves, they go by the written document.
Separation of Powers, you are right. All those fractions practically add up to a whole so I don't even know what the problem is now. As you said its so muddled that it does confuse people. But Jehovah still seems to be getting his blood sacrifices.
