  Oh well.

  If you see a JW in the street, why be ashamed, do what NW does, stop the car and say HI.... this really upsets them, but some are too polite to walk away, so get in your ten pence worth... NW is becoming famous for it.

  It is really funny. as he says these are people he has known for years, and he has nothing to be ashamed of. Other than to make sure that these JWs know that BIG lies have been told.

  It is brilliant to watch the uncomfortable feelings cross the faces of these JWs who are so hoping that no bros and sis are passing who may report them to the elders.

  Mum gave me a cross for my birthday

  my mum just gave me an early birthday present.

  she gave me a necklace with a cross.

  and since i don't have time to give a party on my actual birthday next monday [i have an examn], she is hosting a birthdayparty for me tomorrow.

  Letter to old Cong

  ok so some weeks back i send a letter to my old cong, it stated quite a few points which were very serious, some of them would cause certain members of the cong to be diss'd and asking for an explanation as to why certain things happened i.e stepfather throwing mother down the stairs whilst drunk but mother getting reproved etc etc.

  also raised was the issue of the data protection act and wanting a copy of the files held on me and also stating that the baptism is nul and void.

  it was about 5 pages long and i also sent it to various members of the cong.. a week ago i get an e mail from a witness stating that i was out of order - my letter was obviously exagerated and lied about to make me a "mad apostate" aparantly in the letter i have admited to keeping a written record of goings on, i blame the society wholey for my mothers death and i have apparantly sent it to the press.. a couple of days ago i get a reply from the cong and guess what it says, pretty much please forward a cheque for 10 along with proof of id and we will send you the records and thats it !!!!!

  my legs & arms chopped of ( hyperthetical situation )

  supposing.. you yourself had an accident .

  your friends called an ambulance which took you to the hospital,along with your severed arm & legs, as a practicing jehovahs witness would you be allowed to procede with an operation connecting your body parts back to yourself.,would you make the decision to go ahead with the operation or would you call in an elder to make the decision???????

  what do you think would persuade you to refuse the operation , or rather would you allow yourself to have a transplant.. .

  One Reason Jws Can Be Duped Easily

  what i am about to state here has been said many times before in various ways, but i am offering some observations that i made as a bookstudy conductor over a period of 12 years, 9 of those as an elder, and before that as an ms filling in.. i was the type of conductor who would attempt to 'probe beneath the surface' as it were, when i conducted.

  i was often amazed and sometimes a bit frustrated (though i tried never to be impatient with the people there) by the lack of comments at the bookstudy that would offer anything more than just a re-read of what the paragraph said.

  i realize that many folks have busy lives and of course have little time for extra thought or research.

  NW and I have just been chatting about the same said thing, inasmuch, that as JWs we accepted on face value what was on the printed page, and never thought to challenge certain thoughts. As you believe that you have the 'truth' so why question it!

  Mind you as time came for us to leave (drift on my part) NW started to ask difficult questions, and as you know that is just not allowed.

  Jws are lemmins..... over the cliff we go........wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee bang.

  But, tell me this, why were we always being got at to 'study more' personal study is so important.... but just think if we had really studied hard for those meetings, well maybe we would have left a lot sooner.....

  What should we reply when invited to memorial?

  when my mil invites my husband to the memorial he plans on saying, "well i've already been to the memorial before.

  if you've been there once, there's no need to go again since the talk is the same mumbo-jumbo year after year and i'm not anointed anyway.".

  what do you plan on saying or have you said?

  Well before my mother and family decided to shun me, she did enquire as to whether I would be attending the Memorial, and I told her in no uncertain terms NO. Just like that... she was quite surprised, because this will be the first one I have ever missed in all my life...

  but since I told her that if associating with JWs meant living with them through eternity and beyond I said that I would rather not know, so asking if I would be attending the Memorial seemed to be a pointless question. She just wanted to have more ammunition to shun me..... aaaawwww.

  actually due to a couple of crossed wires on my part we nearly missed each other, but thank goodness we didn't.. we ended up in a pub on the river (thames), and we talked and talked and talked and talked..... you get the drift.

  lol.

  well i got the impression from teejay that i can come across as supercilious; that i don't think i have any faults.

  so for the sake of posterity, i am herewithin listing all of my faults (that i know about, lol).i frequently don't explain my thoughts thoroughly; i'm in a rush and just try to write down what i'm thinking at the moment.

  this leads to unclear reasoning when others read my words; on more than one occasion, i'll admit.i'm too quick with the sarcasm.
