Being seriouse you know you have a 2 part test ,ist on theory couple weeks latter the actual driving test, FIRSTLY STUDY THE NEW HIGHWAY CODE BOOKLET. Find a friend whom owns a car and then have them take you out for practice drives whenever possible ,have himdrive you around the area where you are taking your test which possibly will be the nearest town, ( THE REST IS UP TO YOU )GOOD LUCK

How old was you when you learned to drive?
by Brummie ini've never passed my test, never needed to because i lived near the city and could get from a to b at the drop of a hat.
now living in a village it almost impossible to get anywhere so i am about to start taking lessons, at 39 i'm embarrassed and am dreading starting lessons.
what a wus huh.

WHY DONT MORE BLACK @ OTHER NATIONALITYS POST ON THIS BOARD
by nightwarrior innot being racist in any way but i dont see any photos of black or spanish gatherings posting on the board , what is the reason for this yes if i bring out controvesy then feel free ,sorry no ime not racist,as i am from mixed parentage ,or dont other nationalitys feel the need to heal themselves after the borg have they been so dissasimilated that they dont trust anyone else,come out from behind your masks and reveal the real you.

this guy turned up at sigle womens houses quite often.
anyway this nice man started studying the scriptures,after 18 months or so his wife even attended the meetings.

she was quite happy and we began to discuss the days activities.

It is really hard. I know what I went through. Mr NW had stopped going to the meetings 6 yrs before I left, and the feeling that I was to go to the hall on my own was horrible. We had been such a family unit, we more or less took up a whole row, and then WHAM, I was sat on my own. Talk about Johnny No Mates!! I can remember begging NW to come to a couple of meetings with me, but he was adamant that he would not attend another meeting. His brother would call me and say that he had a chat with him, and given time he would be back at the meetings, so I held on, hoping, but the children could see things far more clearly than I ever could, and all four slowly but surely stopped going to the meetings. Our daughter would occasionally attend, but it was with a heavy heart, and I use to feel so guilty, about her attending, as her heart was not in it. The thing is, the reasons as to why NW stopped going in the first place, were all so relevant, and I understood completely, but I always hoped, but eventually I stopped asking, and then other issues came along, and then my joy was lost, it was horrible, I thought that the bottom had dropped out of my world. (after 40 yrs) But I eventually asked questions, reasoned with myself over many issues, and then I came to my own decision as to why I could no longer associate with JWs. NW never once stood in my way, and I thank him for that, because I did it on my own! He use to listen to me, and my frustrations, but he still allowed me to think for myself. He never once made me feel bad about my choice. The only thing he did, was say that the children could be independent in deciding as to whether or not to attend the mtgs. Now I am OUT, and I am so happy, and relaxed, but I had to do it on my own. The only seemingly down side to things is that my 'family' do not speak to me, and so called friends ignore me in the street, but so what, if that is what a true friend does - who needs them. Life goes on, and new friends come along, who prove to be 100% better than any JW could ever be - because true friends are not fickle. Mrs Nightwarrior

having noticed quite a number of presented group photos why my now havenot any of you got any black or spanish friends,being mixed race myself just something ive noticed in quite a lot of postings i would like to see more nationalitys my farther was from africa i. how many black brothers are posting onthis board and why not more,as i sit back in london england waiting for your replys.
just curiouse as many seem to hide behinf masks on the board ,i shall be posting my picture shortly no i dont want all you ladies to dribble over me as i am a married man ok.

Anyway this nice man started studying the scriptures,after 18 months or so his wife even attended the meetings. Whom we were told was an old dragon, nasty, overbearing and disloyal,hence, when we actually met her she was kind honest and sweet.Her husband had given everyone the wrong impression of her.
My wife started studying with her, which the husband didnot like.
As we found out, the rat of a husband kept his wages for himself spent, all his earnings on himself, and she had to work for her neighbours in the scope of ironing and cleaning there houses for a pittance, as well as baby sitting to earn enough to buy food for herself.
Of course there were the beatings and abuse thrown into the marriage. He used to work on the roads earning around seven hundred pounds per week.
There washing machine broke down and needed mending but, he made her wash all his dirty tar ridden clothes in a bath leaving her hands bleeding and red raw, he eventually had the washing machine fixed after six months, he had done his damnest to make her leave the property.
He would not pay for vet bills for his sick dog which was put down.
The local elders were informed but would not believe the information we supplied to them, they ignored his wifes pleas for help, they eventually got divorced.
THIS MAN WAS THEN MADE UP AS A MINISTERIAL SERVANT.
He then met a sister, was free to marry and did just that, all with the blessings of the elders ,QUAKERS OR WHAT ??????Any one else experienced this type of treatment by a ministerial servant.
