the feb. km has an article entitled: new arrangement for kingdom hall libraries.
no longer will the library be called the theocratic ministry school library.
now, it has been renamed the kingdom hall library.
Scully, don't you know that sisters are to take no initiatives?
My wife claims that one time she went to an elder and mentioned that the Hall property needed some weeding and volunteered her services. She said the elder told her that the building committee would need to consider it.

does anybody know or know about this man?.
blondie, thanks for the link, I am going to check his site out. His newsletters seem interesting.
i was hoping to enjoy the championship game between the eagles and the bucs.. but no more than 5 or 10 minutes into the game, a budweiser ad comes on that uses a very obvious double entendre (a conversation between a man and woman that revolves around the very large sweatshirt she is wearing.
she makes comments like, "small ones are ok, but big ones just feel better.
" the commercial closes with her remarking about his "small hands".).
LOL@ Robdar, good one.....
I have seen the one mentioned at the outset. And, of course, the other one getting lots of play and attention is the one of the two babes fighting over "tastes great" and "less filling", ending up in a mud-wrestling shot.
the following is from the "berean bible teachers' manual (1908)".. how many proofs are still taught by jw?
which is your favorite one?.
twenty time proofs.
There's some real good ones in that list.....I especially loved the one based on Daniel 9:25 and the 474 years from the invention of printing. Ye gods.
lol my neighborhood went nuts...horns honking, people yelling, fireworks going off...finally we're going to the superbowl!!
woohooooooo!
go bucs!!
Hey Dana, I was very impressed by the Bucs today. Though I did pick the Eagles to win, the Bucs weathered that early 'storm' of a quick 7-0 deficit and really took over the game. Of course, the week before, they carved up my 49ers, so they are no doubt the NFC's elite right now. Enjoy the Gruden, er, Super Bowl.....I have a feeling, very preliminary right now, that the Bucs are going to win.

please read this link if you dont understand why the questions on baptism were changed in 1985...... and why baptism in the jws since 1985 is a legal snare.... .

My wife has just completed. Buisness Law courses, and we have recently discussed this topic. Good points made here.
well, i gave my hope to be future wife crisis of conscience and in search of christian freedom yesterday.
i told her to take her time and read them with an open mind and to trust her heart.
she told me before that if she had any doubts she would leave the wt.
Wow, truthseeker that must have been quite a chat with your ex.
mackey, it will be interesting to see what reaction your soon-to-be might have. Keep us posted if you can.
does shunning a person who quit going to the meetings make him want to go back?
well that's the reason why they shun people.
they think you'll go back if you're shunned.
JH, though perhaps not in the Aid book, the subject is, to my knowledge, discussed elsewhere in WTS publications, though usually under the topic of disfellowshipping.
Does it work? Well, in a way, yes, it works - as a strong-arm tactic. It's obviously a way of depriving people of an essential human need until they see no recourse but to rejoin the group.
even though i'd accumulated 20 years of doubts and disappointments, i fought my last dfing tooth-and-nail.
if they hadn't dfd me, i'd still be "in" mentally and psychologically.
heck, i was still "in" for another year and a half after, even though i thought i was out.
Always good having you here Craig.
