  Do You Still Feel Obliged To Answer To The Elders?

  for some, there is real fear that they must speak to the elders if they decide to stop by your house .some don't know what they will do if the elders begin questioning them.

  Do Jehovah's Witnesses eat Blood Oranges?

  i came across some interesting oranges at the store the other day: blood oranges.. the outside is orange with large red patches, the inside is a deep red... it could also be described as a grape color.. i tried them and discovered that they don't have much of an "orange" taste at all.

  i would say that eating one is more like eating a black-berry that happens to be shaped like an orange..

  Wow, this is a shock. I liked her on The District. On an episdode last year, they had her fighting cancer. I wonder if that was more real than fiction.

  we all know which topics interest us the most, but which subjects bore you the most?

  some here love all fluff.

  some hate it.some might respond to only intellectual arguments while others may not have the foggiest of what is being debated.....so, what do you tend to skip, here?

  I have been skipping the war threads. I read enough of that topic in the news.

  I also tend to skip "repeat" subjects that have already been discussed thoroughly.

  some youngsters (i always hated that word...) in our congregation went to a rock concert.

  two out of ten of these kids decided to join in the "mosh pit", and try their hand at "crowd surfing", just like on mtv.

  well the other eight kids decided to rat them out to the elders for behaving in a worldly manner.. the local needs talk the following week discussed the danger of music in the life of a young christian.

  There is so much stupidity in dubdom with regard to dancing (and alot of other stuff). Another example of their going way beyond what is written.
