  Quick update. They haven't disfellowshipped him. They decided to ban him from giving public prayers and provide answers during meetings. But, they have disfellowshipped another guy from the congregation. One of the kindest people I know. Anyway, he's quite in a good mood and not mad at my mother at all.

  He's not mean because of his liver getting destroyed by alcohol. It's just who he is. I know about the laws against animal abuse, but we live in a remote mountain area and I kinda know personally the people that must deal with this sort of thing, and they will not give a crap about a dog. There are must bigger problems to solve, like poaching and stuff. As for me and my mom, I plan to find her a new place to live, as well as for me, after I finish college.

  We're in Europe, so there's no guns. Since I grabbed him by the neck, he has chilled out, mostly. He only hit my mother a few times in their marriage, but they argued constantly for the past 20 years or so. What I can't stand is his animal abuse. His aggression towards both pets and farm animals has been a constant reason for conflict in our family. Disfellowshipping him would only make things worse, as he'd be more resentful of my mother. He often shouts at us to go away, but there's nowhere to go as my mother's family it's all be out of touch for decades due to her being a JW. She refuses to leave him anyway. I'm hoping that if I show more aggression towards him when he misbehaves, he'll improve his behavior. The man's in his 60's by now, so it's not like he could actually take me down in a fight. Anyway, I hope things improve. He's been awfully quiet since I almost beat him last time.

  This has nothing to do with my Facebook endeavors. When the elders visited us last week, they also discussed my father. My mother called them about him. He got drunk a few times. I have no problem with that, because I don't care. However, he does beat the shit out of animals. My mother fed a stray dog last autumn and when he saw her, he ran with a baseball bat to hit the dog. My mother tried to stop him and he tackled her and gave her a few slaps.

  I was at college at the time but when I found out I was so furious I wanted to beat the shit out of him. Anyway, my mother wouldn't allow me to do that because she said seeing something like that it would kill her, as she has a heart condition. A few weeks ago, he kicked my mother's pregnant cat, almost killing her. I shouted at him "What the hell are you doing?! Killing the cat?!". He approached me and threw a punch. I grabbed him by the neck and lifted him from the ground. My mother immediately got between us and cried until we stopped fighting.
  

  We haven't spoken to each other since. I hate the guy. He abused my mother and countless animals all his life. When she called the elders, I thought it might be a good thing for them. That they might talk him into chilling out a bit, to stop hitting animals. She also told them about his drinking, but that's irrelevant to me as he's not violent when drunk. Now, they called him tomorrow for a judicial committee. Will they disfellowship my father?

  I wouldn't want that, because he'd blame my mother that would make things so much worse. I wouldn't even be able to leave home, out of fear that he might retaliate on her. I never knew the idiots would react so seriously. I thought my mother would just tell them about the fighting and they'd scold him for that, but no they took it to the next level. What do you think will happen? Can I threaten them with a lawsuit to prevent them from disfellowshipping him? Don't get me wrong, I want my parents to leave this cult, but not like this.

  Boeing pretty much said exactly what I wanted to reply. Thank you Boeing!
  
  I know the internet, the many changes (including JW TV), the pedophile scandals and various other factors are hurting the membership numbers. Still, at this rate, it will be a long ass time before they go down. Not only that, but they'll substitute their members from the developed world (where they're losing membership), with people from third world countries that lack internet access, access to education, are more ignorant and more easily deceived. And so, they'll have masses of mindless drones to do their construction works freely in capital cities of rapidly developing economies around the world, building properties that will be worth billions later on.

  That's why I want to take an active role in opposing this corporation. I'm tired of bitching about the way they annoy or even hurt me, without doing something about it. As Boeing said, there are awake individuals even on the highest levels of the organization. Enough of these people working together, and they could make it shatter. Of course, I'm not able to predict what would be the best way to take it down, but I know that with the help of the right people and in the right conditions, it should be possible. Boeing's analogy with mafia organizations is very good. This corporation needs to be fought similarly.
  
  Since so many of you mentioned the internet, another idea would be hacking JW.org. Imagine that during an important campaign or other event, when everyone's on JW.org, the site gets hacked and a short but powerful list with the worse things about the borg is featured.That should at least stir up questions in a lot of people. It would probably be illegal for a hacker from the US or Europe, but not for everyone around the world. So, I agree with Boeing. We'll never see anything more than incremental progress in the borg's eventual decline, unless we do something about it. I have a couple of months left before finishing up college, but after that, I'll go all in against them. For now, I'll have to make due with creating and using social media to inform others about TTAT.

  so, not long ago i've told you guys how one of my only two jw friends saw my comment against the borg and called me about it.

  well, the little fraker also called the elders to tell on me.

  i know i've been a huge idiot for posting a comment about jw's on facebook, but nonetheless i did it and what's happened, happened.. two idiot elders came all the way from the nearest congo, 30 miles away to talk to me about it.

  Hey guys! Some of you might know about my latest clash with the elders. I see the pressure this cult is putting on my family. It's getting worse. My mother ruined her life because of them. She abandoned her family and never talked to them again when an older JW woman successfully brainwashed her in her teenagehood. Now, more than 40 years later, she suffers from serious depression, that is only made worse by the elders and other JW's. They're constantly guilt tripping her for not coming to the K Hall more, doing more hours in service and shit like that, even though they know she has both a heart condition and depression, and we live far from the Hall. Now, they're making a big deal out of one of my facebook comments.

  I hate this cult. I want to see this cult destroyed. I want to stop it from destroying other people's lives. I want to take it down. And so, I've been thinking about it. I thought about the internet, the media, "apostates" and all the other things that could pose a threat to the cult. I don't think any external attack would work. Maybe a large scale internet or media campaign that reveals the evilness of this cult would work for waking up some, but they'd lose only a tiny percentage of followers, at best.
  
  What could work though, would be taking them down from the inside. Imagine if a group of awake JW's would work their way to the top (or already be there, but that's more unlikely), and by taking coordinated action, would begin drastic changes in doctrine or make ridiculous prophecies official (or whatever else would work) to destroy this cult. Sort of like creating another 1975, but much worse and intentional. Anyway, I think we should organize ourselves and take action against this cult. I see it as a moral duty to prevent more lives getting wasted by the evil corporation. What do you guys think? What's the best way to take WT down (partially at least)?
