Mark Sanderson - Why Is the Newest GB Member Suddenly So Prominent?
by Oubliette ini've noticed something that is very odd even by wt/gb standards.
why is mark sanderson suddenly so prominent in all things wt/jw?.
others have commented on the obvious narcissism of the gb pushing themselves to the fore recently, in particular after their huge doctrinal change at proclaiming themselves and only themselves as the faithful and discreet slave.. this is clearly true as evidenced at the agm, not only throughout the agm, but also in the video that was featured as part of that meeting.

The new translation of John 17:3 seems like a major shift.
by paul from cleveland inup until now, everlasting life was dependent on "taking in knowledge".
it was a perfect fit for a publishing house to interpret that scripture that way.
if we didn't keep up with the endless stream of publications from the watchtower our salvation would be in jeopardy.

what country do you live in?
The estimate may be well off but it is not less than a dollar when you factor in insurance, labor, housing, food, medical, power, paper, ink, glue, leather, cardboard, trucks, fuel to ship, etc.

its a racket but definitely not a stunt they can do every year. Limited potential for future profits.
I think that the new bible is more about doctrine than money. it will have to be significantly different to justify replacing everyone's bible.

Quantum Physics and philosophy about God

Crazy thought of the day. Quantum mechanics shows that particles can be interlinked even though they are 100+ miles apart. it is the spooky weirdness that Einstein mentioned. If you split an electron and keep one here and send the other to the moon hypothetically the two are still linked. We don't understand how but we know it works.
If energy can equal matter times the speed of light squared, and "God" is made of energy, and as qm has shown particles can be interlinked across space and time, is it possible that each of us have a literal piece of "God" in our physical selves? We are made in Gods image right?
please tear the theory apart. It was the product of a daydream a couple of months ago. Again, not a scientist by any stretch.

Can this be confirmed? I know many people in that area and haven't heard of that yet. I am also somewhat skeptical because there are only two circuits that match up in Reno Nevada. I am puzzled how the group can be broken into 4 circuits when there are only two close by. The nearest circuit aside from the two would be a 2.5 hr drive away.

I had NO idea about the letter to Hitler......
by Flg8ter inthis was brand new to me........did some research, like we're not supposed to do ;) and dug up crazy stuff that i had no idea about.
my whole life we were taught have bad and evil "christendom" was for trying to pacify hiter during his rise to power, and how different we were for standing up to him!.
then i found about the letter dated june 25,1933 from rutherford and his writting team to hiter.
