we just got back from texas'.
they had their annual tax free weekend.
with hotel, gas, food, and shopping, we spent $1000.00 easy.
Im against school uniforms, to me they just reek of communism and forced unity, almost like the kingdom hall. I wear a uniform to work everyday, and when I first got it I was really proud and thought it looked cool, but I actually miss being able to dress in my own distinctive look. I guess it does level the playing field, but it can also stifle individuality.

I actually cant wait for the day a JW shows up at my door, but its been 6 years since Ive seen one out in the service in our neighborhood. I will talk their ears off thats for sure.
had to go to a catholic hospital ie: st. mary's, st. stanislaus, etc.say, in an emergency, but was admitted and stayed there for a few days, would he/she get reproved or disfellowshipped?.
would there be an hlc there to make sure that person didn't receive blood?
can the hlc gain access to the j.w.
To DannyBloem and Ellie, I can understand JW's going to a catholic hospital as that really wasnt much of an issue with the local jw's growing up, but Ive never heard of jw's sending their kids to catholic schools or other christian schools, im almost certain that would have been forbidden. Why would a jw parent put their kids through unnecessary torture by sending them to catholic schools. Dont Catholic schools teach with a religious slant? Maybe things are just different in Europe, but it would be unheard of for jw kids to attend catholic schools in Ohio,Kentucky, or anywhere else I attended the kingdom hall. Dave

as much as i would like to give you the minute by minute breakdown, i won't because this is going to be a freaking long post anyhow.

anyone who regularly reads this site is well aware of the sexual abuse scandals amongst jw congregations worldwide.

not to make light of those who were sexually abused, but i think there is an epedimic of other types of abuse in the org.. how many here have been, or know of, someone who was "spanked" regularly and excessively?
More children are beaten at a kingdom hall than anyplace I have ever seen. Now I wasnt abused by my Mom, but we were spanked quite frequently at the meetings, and for reasons that werent legit. The children screaming bloody murder were enough to unsettle most "normal" people, but the JW's just laughed it off, and even took turns spanking each others kids. The thursday night service meeting was the worst, and was one of the reasons my grandma quit going as she couldnt bear seeing little kids beat merciless. Perhaps someone could take a secret camcorder into the meeting and catch some of this on film, then turn it over to the news media.
The children got dragged to the bathroom, the 2nd school, and even sometimes out back. They used to take them out the front door, but they decided that worldly people would drive by and get the wrong impression, so they made them start beating their children out of public view, you know they wouldnt want reproach brought on Jehovah's organization now would they?

i've been thinking about this for a little while and it appears that this is a possibility.
although i cant say that there is solid evidence, it looks as if the clues are there:.
- clandestine involvement with the un as an ngo.
One day hopefully in my lifetime it will be exposed to the full extent who is backing the watchtower, and where the money is going, and it will astound people, it very well could be "Time" magazine story of the century. As long as they are playing the "religion" card here in America they will be free to pilfer, plunder, and destroy. Once the government discovers the extent to which this organization is corrupt, they will turn on her like the old whore she is. Cheers!!!

"sour grapes" or not, Jehovah's Witnesses are a destructive religion, harmful to children, harmful to families, just plain harmful. It is a lying religion, a religion that rides the back of the government and tells the world otherwise. It desroys childrens lives, it destroys their childhood, it destroys the family, and to beat it all it is packaged ever so neatly, it truly is the worlds greatest fraud, and I will expose it whenever I have the opportunity.
