  thinking of starting a radio show

  hi, my name is lori.

  like many of you, i was involved with the cult of the jw's for many years, and it has taken many years to recover/.. i am a member of blogtalkradio, and my info page can be found here:.

  i have been a guest speaker on two shows so far speaking out on the subject of cults, and in particular, jw's.. the link above will lead you to where you can hear my one hour segment... i am presently considering hosting my own show and having variuos guest speakers to discuss on air the things we are all talking about in the forums.

  Fireworks/Kids/Non licensed person...ok? or bad idea?

  i've been invited by a group of friends to join them at their house shooting off fireworks.

  ok, first red flag is i know they are not licensed and the fireworks are illegal.

  though, isn't it "illegal" the same as driving the car a bit over the speed limit?.

  Well fireworks are legal in Tennessee, but just about every town here has outlawed them, even some counties including my own, doesn't stop people from using them though.
  
  
  Just be careful whatever you do and remember that alcohol and fireworks can be a dangerous combination, so if you see drunk people shooting off fireworks, steer clear of them.

  Ruth, could you clarify what you mean by the religious element in prison trying to deprive these men of their natural feelings and relationships for their wives? I don't quite understand what you mean.

  Witness work at 2 a.m.?

  a non-jw friend in a southern state has close ties to a jw with a late teen-aged son.

  this son is pioneering during late hours, meaning 11 pm to 2 am.

  i'm told his car group calls on, among others, convenience store workers where they apparently have much idle time on their hands.

  Here is 2 questions I don't know the answer to.
  
  
  1. Has the Watchtower ever printed any guidelines for counting time, such as the do's and dont's?
  
  
  2. In the larger cities where they actually do work the convenience stores after dark, are they required to only work those in their territory or are they allowed to work all areas of the city?

  i gave up my support group .i sent all my cassets,video's,books to many on here that asked for them.... i did not keep a list of whom they went to, but it was in the hundreds.

  one in particular was a video of us picketing brooklyn bethel...if any one has it.

  i would like to know the year of the one on the bus where a woman is talking about the jon -dubs being the loo( she points to it)it was funny.

  I still have the video, but offhand I don't know where it is. I save everything. Every cabinet and every closet is full, and even under the bed I have boxes of brochures, tapes, and magazines. I am a pack rat.

  i gave up my support group .i sent all my cassets,video's,books to many on here that asked for them.... i did not keep a list of whom they went to, but it was in the hundreds.

  one in particular was a video of us picketing brooklyn bethel...if any one has it.

  i would like to know the year of the one on the bus where a woman is talking about the jon -dubs being the loo( she points to it)it was funny.

  I remember the beginning of the video was on the bus on the way to Brooklyn, but I can't remember the details. I do remember some things from the actual picketing.
  
  I will watch it again some time, but probably not this week as I will be busy packing for Ohio, I start vacation this friday.
