Evil Force does have a point. I dont care one bit what people are thinking of me when im out there picketing. One of the last few holdouts from my JW days was excessive worry about what other people think. We were always concerned what people thought and always had to watch our backs, now I no longer give a rats you know what.

Thats interesting purplesofa, I kinda find it hard to believe in this day and age there are still kingdom halls that think that way, that was always the one point JW's tried to make that they alone are the only religion that has racial tolerance, oh I've known a few JW's that were prejudiced, but never encountered a kingdom hall that refused black speakers.

I must clarify myself here, when I said that guy had lied the whole time, I was refering to Christian Longo, not the attorneys, Michael Finkel, the reporters, investigators or anyone else. Christian Longo was the Liar and had perfected the art of lying. What a sad way to end a family.

Well I watched it, it was such a tragic story. That guy lied his way the whole time. They did not even mention they were JW's, all the CBS show said was that they had met at the local congregation. I would almost bet that the only way the family would agree to talk was if they did not mention about the kingdom hall. If they had been Catholics or Baptists or anything else they would have showed a picture of the Church. What more can be said but it was an awful horrible thing to do to his wife and kids. I just wish they had mentioned more of the religious aspect. I wonder what Christian Longo told Michael Finkel? I wonder if there were things told to him that didnt make sense? Anybody else see the show and what were your views on it?

"i'm the guy they used to call deep throat," he told lawyer john d. o'connor, the author of the vanity fair article, the magazine said in a press release.. felt was initially adamant about remaining silent on the subject, thinking disclosures about his past somehow dishonorable.. "i don't think (being deep throat) was anything to be proud of," felt indicated to his son, mark jr., at one point, according to the article.
"you (should) not leak information to anyone.".
felt is a retiree living in santa rosa, calif., with his daughter, joan, the magazine said.
No Joke, My mom told me tonight that she had read a book about deepthroat and that somewhere in the book it mentioned something about the deep throat guy supposedly is or was a JW. This floored me when mom told me that and now Im gonna do some more research into this.

i am organizing a protest rally at the wts hq at georgetown, ontario for saturday, june 25 from 12:00 noon till 3:00pm.
if there is enough protestors, we will get national media coverage.
afterwards we are going out to a restaurant.
Well I would love to join you up there, and I would probably be the first one on the scene with a half dozen picket signs, however its just a little too far for me, plus I have a few reservations about picketing in another country, I mean what would happen if I got arrested? They would have to deport me and go through all kinds of red tape. I prefer to picket in the USA, just so I know what legalities im up against. But hey if you ever want to get down to Ohio or Tennessee I would be more than happy to join you in a protest.

For every life the JW religion helps save-former drug addicts, criminals, prostitutes, etc etc etc-- it destroys 3 more.
You know what though, it would make my day if JW's moved next door, talk about the fun that I could have-LOL
I see very little positive about the WT Society, very few good deeds done in that religion are genuine, its all about keeping up appearances.
