Burn the Ships, unlike the Watchtower Society that has an answer for everything, I don't have an answer for that or alot of other things. I have asked this question before from certain christians at work, but I don't remember how they replied.
My church is pretty much a "tell it like it is' church. There is no sugar coating, no keeping up appearances, we don't obsessively worry what non-believers think about our church. We try to live by the bible, but at the same time, we don't go out of our way to make things look different than what they really are. For me this was a breath of fresh air after leaving the JW's.

Christians: I would like an answer, please.
by changeling inon another thread i asked: .
"f i do not renounce my atheism, repent and start believing in and worshipping the christian god, what will happen to me?".
i do not want your judgement or your opinion i want to know what your church/faith teaches on the subject or the fate of unbelievers.. no platitudes, please.

In Kentucky we don't sugar coat the gospel, I will tell it like it is.
According to the teachings of my church as taught from the King James bible, unless you accept Christ as your saviour before you die, then Hell is your eternal doom. -

Will the Organization fall apart?
by BonaFide inmajor changes in meetings, the weird drama this year, and just people reading on the internet, are causing a lot to leave the organization, or just fade.
is it possible that, just like a house of cards, the whole thing will fall apart soon?
i mean, this may be wishful thinking, but is it possible that people will start to dissassociate themselves in bigger numbers, then groups and families will do so, then bigger and bigger groups of friends will do it, and then people who hear about this will check on the internet and then do the same thing, then congregations have to be dissolved and merged, then the talks start getting meaner, and that makes even more people quit, then thousands start to leave.. possible?.

What if everyone at the top started to turn against the religion and all of them started working towards the dissolution of the Watchtower Society, boy that would be awesome, but only a pipe dream I'm sure.

I know an XJW poster from this board who attends that church. I haven't talked with her in a while, I don't even know where her number is, but I hope and pray she is OK.

Sure it is common, especially when a JW just might happen to work in the newsroom. I have been told by a local XJW that here in Knoxville there are several JW's that work for the newspaper, some even in the newsrooms.

Rock concerts, ballgames, and cruise ships are strictly for moneymaking and entertainment, they are totally different than a religious convention, especially one that claims to be "christian", So I can see the "show going on in that instance.
Something else disturbs me about this whole thing, and only one person even touched upon it.
You can guess what I am getting at." -

Imagine
by John Doe inyou're eating at a large, multi bilion dollar franchise corporation restaurant.
now, further assume you find a pubic har in your food, or better yet, you find a hair when it pulls your lip as you removed your fork from your mouth.
now, you suffer no physical harm, no sickness, no tangible harm.

case dismissed---and the plaintiff is to pay all legal fees incrued for wasting the judge and the jury's time for such a frivolous matter.
Oh and by the way, all money from the legal fees are to be donated to silentlambs and JWD. LOL -
