  Watchtower "shut off the Kingdom of Heaven" for 72 years

  but woe to you, scribes and pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in.. it took wt 72 years to open the kingdom of heaven to anyone professing to be of the anointed.. .

  until recently, a wt article a couple of years ago actually suggested that partakers check their medication to be sure they were of sound mind.. strong talks were given about the qualifications to be one of the remnant.. memorial talks spent more time on identifying the little flock than the meaning of jesus' sacrifice.. .

  i like to read the km to see what the wtbts is saying, and then to think about what they really mean.. information appears in the km when problem need to be addressed in the organization.

  the article on.

  the front page "make the most of your time in the ministry" was insightful to me.

  yes, it was just 5 years ago on xmas day that bikerchic and i got married in las vegas at the little church of the west.

  it was too funny, going to the courthouse with $50 in hand (cash only, please!

  ), and walking out to a parade of taxis all offering to take us wherever we wanted to go (cash only, please!).

  because witnesses are less into christ than they are into moses.

  when christ talks about turning the other cheek, witnesses talk about why the faithful should shun anyone that doesn't see eye to eye with them.

  the jewish religious leaders were condemned by christ for their biases.. why do jehovah's witnesses treat disfellowshipped ones as if they were "dead"?

  at a circuit assembly the co stopped his talk and asked the attendants to remove a crying baby and his mother .. she go up walked out the back started crying as she was studying she never came back.. saved by the co i say..

  A co in his Tuesday evening talk held up the Bible and said "We must obey all that is said in here, it is not negotiable ".

  He then held up a Watchtower and said: "We must obey all that is said in here, it is not negotiable ".

  Pretending that their kids are safe with someone just because they are an Elder or because they attend meetings is no help at all.

  Normally that would be the case, but the WBTS cannot warn against possible elder abusers because one of their central teachings is that elders are appointed by Holy Spirit.

  That teaching is required to legitimize their demand that the rank and file OBEY their appointed enforcers, the "spirit appointed" elders.
