  why jehovahs witnesses are right for sticking to the bibles chronology of 607 bce for the destruction of jerusalem.

  arguments for 587 bce are scripturally flawed, causing four bible prophecies to fail.

  Your loyalty to the society is certainly genuine.

  
  I must say that if there is one thing at which they excell,it is being tech nically correct, but deliberately deceptive. They do that regularly when claiming that, for many years prior they were expecting Jesus to return in 1914. When we know the truth is that they believed and taught from 1879 till at least 1930 that Jesus had returned in 1874.

  Iam just wondering if you have ever considered raising your loyalty from man to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ who, after all died for you.

  How does your conscience cope with celebrating Jesus dying for you, while you give your loyalty to deceptive men.

  This Year The Push Is REALLY On To Invite EVERYONE To The Memorial!

  the word's out to invite anyone and everyone-----as this could be the last celebration (per my mother as she heard it at the hall).

  even had a sister drop by and leave a Wacktower that has the Memorial talk along with a page stating ["We Have Found the Messiah"] pg 4 in the Feb. 15 06 WT.

  Honesty,

  I agree with you and why would they even put this in their wacktower with so many reading it..They try anything to draw attention maybe!!

  
  The Watchtower is probably referring to John 1:41,2 where Andrew says to Peter that he has found the Messiah.

  No I wasn't like that, but there are other ways to be arrogant and,I believe I was arrogant. I was certainly judgmental.

  I am not sure if I thought I was better, but if I was "doing more" like pioneering for instance, I felt that God was

  more pleased with me than others who, it seemed to me, were not trying to "please Jehovah" to the same extent.

  I was also very judgmental with non JW's. I had no understanding of Grace or as the WT says "undeserved kindness".

  I am not proud of what I was, in fact I am very ashamed, and have asked God for forgiveness. But I still have aways to go I am afraid.

  Just finished "Crisis of Conscience"

  i have just finished crisis of conscience and it moved me to write raymond franz a letter of appreciation.

  does anyone know how to get a letter to him?

  i think i will send it through the publishing company unless there is a better way.. everyone should read this book, it is a real eye opener.
