  Why am I Renouncing My JW Faith...Part 5 and final

  i have expressed in this forum that sometimes im confused as to what will be my ultimate decision.

  at this point in my life there is too much at stake.

  first, my own emotional estate, ill hate to bitterly regret the years expend taking unnecessary emotional abuse and theocratic bulling.

  I’m learning that I need to take my time before making any drastic decision.

  Would it be fair to compare JWs to Terrorist Organisations?

  -terrorists are prepared to die for their course,.

  -jws are prepared to die for jehovah.. 2 terrorists treat those with different views as enemies,.

  2 jws treat 'worldly people' as enemies.. 3 terrorists are brainwashed from a young age,.

  Thanks again. I enjoyed reading of your unfolding life.

  From your final comments I got the impression you may enjoy reading Philip Yancy's books.

  He has many, but the most famous is "What's So Amazing About Grace".

  I sincerely recommend it.

  i left off on my first posts on this topic with this sentence: one of the big discoveries and the genesis of my semi-apostate ways came one day when i decided to look up some of the books cited in the reasoning from the scriptures book (almost 99% of the works cited by the society were available at the universitys library).

  the research that was meant to solidify my faith in the jw religion, actually made the first crack on the foundation of my faith.. .

  Letter to all congregations in Canada 2010

  pledge forms will be issued to all brothers & sisters requesting for donations for k.h.,assembly halls,reno of k.h.etc.they did give some poor excuse as why this was necessary.my guess is that the brothers who made interest free loans to the wbts are asking for these loans back because of all the layoffs and the down turn in the economy.. bob.

  luke 15 : 7 says : - .

  "i tell you that thus there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over ninety nine righteous ones who have no need of repentance.".

  within the organization, the requirements for reinstatement of those who are disfellowshipped are 'repentance' of any any previous actions and attitude ; a demonstration of no longer practicing whatever 'sin' you got disfellowshipped for, as well as demonstrating submissiveness to the elders, the regulations, and the f&d slave.

  She was working behind the scenes on the blood issue to improve it for people who, as it turns out, were just like her; fighting cancer.
