i know witnesses believe that miracles were done away with other "gifts" after the apostles died but every so often they suggest god produced a miracle.. did you believe that jehovah god saved you out of a bad situation?

did you accept that god's angel help you out?.

I talk to God last night. Found this forum today.

Leaving the Jw's is a very good thing. I still believe in Jehovah God, and will never turn my back on him.

Back in the 1960's they were talking about skirts being to short. One Hall, they made a mark near the front door. The bottom of skirts, and dresses, had to hit that mark...lol. The shorter sisters had to raise thier skirts.

There are very good people in the JW's. I pray to God he will free them.

I understand what you are saying.

I found early after leaving the JW’s that I had a conflict between, The Bible, Archeology, and Science. All three seemed to be in mortal combat, one with the other. What a bowl of spaghetti that was.

I had to sit back and think about this bowl of spaghetti? There were many things in the Bible that could be proven true, but, the same holds true for Archeology, and Science?

Me, when I’m lost on a subject, I will try anything. I know one thing Satan often does…”Divide, and Conquer.” So I put the three, Bible, Archeology, and Science together, as one…”What a different picture I got.”

I found a site, but I understand by the forum rules I cant post it here. I will say this, search out sites that give out of place artifacts.

Show your husband what stonewall showed to me. Print it out for him. I have not turned one inch from Jehovah. It was just this year, a person who does not believe in God, showed me Gods name in Hebrew, does not, and can to be traslated into Jehovah...as far as I can figuree, it is YAWH.

More times than not, I call him, father, creator of all, Father of my Lord Jesus. I'm getting like the Jews, afraid to address him wrong.

I was a JW for many years. It was as a member of that group, I begane looking at who was false, and who was not. I could not find a religion that did not have false major doctrines. In 1996 I started taking a good look at the JW doctrines. The only one I found false, was the one in question. For many years I have gone to God, and asked…”Am I doing the right thing leaving the JW’s? It seems he has given me an answer.

There is no religion I can find that does not have major false doctrines. To me, that means all religions are not from God. I believe deeply in God, his son Jesus, and the Bible. I know some things in the Bible have been changes, but those things are easy to see.

Do others feel about major doctrines as I do?

I read the link, all I can say is WOW. I want to thank all who have taken the time to answer my question. I used to be a JW. The link made it very clear, if I said something wrong, it's just me being stupid. If the leaders say, "God told me," and it turned out false...I should run like hell.

Thank you all very much.

I would love to stay a part of this group.
