In #74a, the man in the background behind Fred Franz does look like Fred's nephew Raymond Franz who later became an "apostate".
It must have been something serious or some major butt kissing for those WT reps to show up at that congregation.
jw friends informed me that this family are jws with the shea heights congregation in scottsdale arizona.
i am told that the elder body there censored this family because the elder body suspected "demon problems".
i am sure those elders feel justified now.

| Officials with the National Park Service will talk to Arizonans who knew 50-year-old Drew Speedie and his 13-year-old son Brent to collect background for the investigation, said Brian Smith, Park Service special agent in charge of investigating the deaths. The Speedies plunged 200 feet from Gardner River Bridge to their deaths Friday while on vacation in Wyoming, officials said. Irene Speedie — Drew’s wife and Brent’s mother — reported the pair’s absence about three hours after they left to take pictures, said park spokeswoman Cheryl Matthews. "Of course it’s suspicious," Smith said. "Think of all the scenarios where two people could fall off a bridge. We’re going to explore every one of those possibilities." Those possibilities include falling, jumping or being pushed off the bridge, Smith said. Investigators are seeking a man who reported an incident at the bridge Friday. The man did not speak English, and while officials weren’t able to get a phone number for him, they were able to determine that something had happened at the bridge, Smith said. "We’re looking very hard for that person," he said. "We believe that person was on scene and either looked over the bridge and saw (the Speedies) at the bottom, or saw what happened." Autopsies showed the two died from blunt force trauma to their heads from the fall, but Smith said investigators are still awaiting forensic testing on their blood and other items. |

but whether it is bought or not, blood is potentially dangerous.

this is a very important observation, that the watchtower has not tried to explain in print why 607 bce is the year for the destruction of jerusalem for the last 17 years!!!.
all that the watchtower has done over most of the last two decades is to repeat over and over the year "607bce" in its publications as if it is an unquestioned fact!.
the last time an explaination for the year was attempted by the watchtower was in 1988 when the "insight" volumes were published, but since then, no explaination for the validity of the year has appeared in print.. this must mean something, but what?

i always thought the wts had very little regard for children, not just the fact that they expect the dubs to sacrifice their childrens lives over the blood issue, but even the designs of the kingdom halls, no rooms or activities for children, just forced indoctrination.. could this stance be the result of a series of presidents who had no understanding or care for children themselves?

before i disassociated myself a month ago, i sent out a brief letter to a few of my friends to let them know about my choice and my reasons for so choosing.
the responses varied.
one of the common responses i received was "i'm sorry you were stumbled.

I like what you said about the JW view of "stumbling". The WT teaches that stumbled persons are arrogant, stubborn and weak. That is not always true. Sometimes the stumbled person is right.

have any of you ever feel abandoned by "friends" because you dont associate (congregate) with them anymore?
there is a couple of 'friends' that i haven't talked to for about a year, (because i dont go to the meetings).
i dont have anything against them or the congregation.

If they have the wedding at the Kingdom Hall you can walk right in and attend the wedding because the Kingdom Hall is open to the public. They cannot turn you away or lay a hand on you if you want to enter a Kingdom Hall and observe.
You might have trouble trying to get into the wedding reception if the reception if off-site as they usually are. But you could try to attend the reception anyway.
