JWN had an odd method for uploading images directly to a post.
If anyone knows the trick to post images here, please IM, or post
the five spoof images elsewhere as you wish. Thanks. -

Does having priveleges in the congregation mean you will have a successful marriage?
by hoser inafter reading about tight pant tony's rant about sisters only marrying ministerial servants lest their marriage will be a failure what anecdotal evidence do you have to support this.
the divorces that i am familiar with in the congregation show me that having priveledges in the congregation do not improve the odds of a better marriage.
i would say about 60% of the divorces had at least one spouse who was a pioneer, elder or ministerial servant.

Does having privileges in the cong mean you will have a successul marriage?
No.Just ask C.T. Russell, and his wife Maria Frances Ackley. Many "privileged" marriages have failed, or never married because the couple was exposed for premarital fornicating.
If privileged marriages in the org appear to endure longer than other marriages, it is probably due to the fact the privileged couple put on pretenses to keep up appearances so as to protected the beloved privileged status. -

"Between the Lines" of the Branch Visit
by TTATTelder ini am starting this thread to discuss the financial points i picked up during the branch visit.. firstly - as an elder we were told that all donations from the event - local and worldwide work were to be sent to the branch.
first of all - could the money-grab be any more obvious given these instructions?
is it even legal to take funds a person gave to a non-profit for one specific purpose (pay the light bill) to allocate them for another (www slush fund)?

1914 - 2014...... 100 Years of Kingdom Rule!
Disclaimer: Matthew 25:31 has not been fulfilled yet because Jesus has not yet sat down on his glorious throne.
He is only stnading right now. The sitting will occur during future Great Tribulation, when the full 144,001 are in heaven.
At that time the Kingdom Clock can be reset so the 1000 Year Reign of Kingdom Rule can begin, again.
Meanwhile, party like it's 2014, because we now been living under 100 Years of Kingdom Rule! We even have a website!
And a cartoon kid with a plane! And Roku! -

100 yrs + 1000 yrs = 1100 yrs of Kingdon Rule ?
by Smiles indoes anyone one else have a problem with the celebrating '100 years kingdom rule' (1914-2014).
while at the same time teaching that the kingdom will rule for 1000 years?
(rev 20:6).

Can the JW flock not do the math? Or do they have their own explainations for that calculation?
