  years ago we, on this board, found some parts of the network between watchtower and un, unhcr and ocse and other state relations.. is there at this moment in time a connection between watchtower and wef?.

  we are pleased to announce that the governing body has decided that, jehovah willing, we will resume in-person regional conventions in 2023. branches will now begin scheduling dates and selecting venues.

  It was a passing news alert link on the jw org website which probably "expired" by design.

  Those JW . org "breaking news" alerts, as was the case here, usually appear for a short time, with no dedicated archive to revisit at jw . org itself. (WT has a reputation for record archive folly)

  A general internet archive may have captured evidence of the headline text before it "expired"

  Their convention viewing program will resume next weekend. Two weekends on, one weekend off.... Two consecutive weekends of convention, third weekend regular meeting.

  Today should be their regularly scheduled congregation meeting PT & WT.

  Yes, that "Judah Ben Schroeder" thing literally means Judah son of Schroeder... how cute.

  But the name selection could also indicate delusions of grandeur, as if god almighty would somehow use this son-of-a-GB in some lofty prophetic significance.

  That delusional grandeur seems to align with the profile of the father, Albert Schroeder of the GB, who personally contributed enormous volumes of now obsolete interpretive content within the original edition of "Revelation - Its Grand Climax at Hand!" which included many references to "spiritual Israel" and the "anti-typical" "modern day" 12 tribes...

  Perhaps in the mind of GB member Albert Schroeder, his son Judah Ben Schroeder, might somehow, with a WT funded legal degree, become part of a modern day, anti-typical, spiritual Lion-out-of-tribe-of-Judah "class"... "by extension"...

  the reason for my question is because one pimo has noticed that there are some pimis--particularly spimis--who have remarked that they "are not going to contact nor associate with the friends who are delinquent on zoom and/or at in-person kh meetings, conventions, and assemblies".

  i've noticed this as well: a few ppimis and pimqs who were very close to me and my exdub family members are hearing from them less and less lately than before last year's rc and this year's rc.

  so, is the above a thing nowadays?
