Yes Gam, I have been keeping up with Alleymom, Scholar, AlanF and you on all of those threads you listed. I find them entertaining and fascinating as well as enlightening. I appreciate everyones work in ferreting out the "truth". I try to keep an open mind when reading but it is hard to keep from laughing hysterically with all the good natured kidding, backstabbing, backbiting, and belittleing with all the disparaging remarks going on. I think if God meant for us to figure all this out he would have made it much plainer. Sheesh we all need IQ's of 300 just to understand it.
Did God mean for us to have to use secular and astronomical dating to figure out end times? If you believe the bible is inspired then how do you reconcile having to use uninspired secular and astronomical dating methods? Shouldnt we only need the bible?

had a discussion with my mom the other day and she asked "how can you be so sure they are wrong ?".
i picked two topics that i had not talked to her about ( already said the pedophile, un, generation stuff.).
