  Should jws use certain types of stone?

  i understand that certain types of stone have a pagan connection.eg.granite has been used 2 make stone circles etc,should a jw there4 check,especially if there going 2 buy a stone panelled house whether there is a pagan connection?

  Well, either the cat swallowed it or it didn't, regardless of whether we know whether it did or not. I guess I don't get it.

  In quantum physics, there is a theory that events at a quantum level (i.e. very very small) are uncertain and exist in different states simultaneously - only when you observe a quantum event or take a measurement is the outcome sealed. It sounds silly, but it seems that's how it works.

  I think the original cat experiment (hypothetical only) involved putting a piece of radioactive material in the box which may or may not emit a single particle, and a phial of poison gas which would be released if it did. In other words, a single quantum event (uncertain, with different outcomes existing simultaneously) decides whether the cat lives or dies. So until the observation is made, is the cat dead, alive, both, or neither...?

  Never mind that the cat is there to observe, and the equipment reacting to the particle is there to observe.

  i just got home from my sociology class about culture and one of the things we were asked to do is list some things that were unique to our culture/country.

  so i ask you, my friends from various countries around the globe....what is a symbol that is unique to your country or culture?????.

  Your First "Sin"...

  hey guys,.

  i'm sure this one has been done before, but what was your first "sin" after leaving jw.. i'm not necessarily talking about sleeping with a transvestite - or maybe that was it, :-).

  the other day i was a movie theater and if i wanted to - i could have seen a rated r movie - (like the old george bush on saturday night live - scary!

  I think you're understandably confused. The troof of the matter is that he was actually a 'smurf'.

  Was C.T. Russell the original "Papa Smurf"? Could this be why Jehovah's Witnesses, who have turned away from Russell's teachings, are superstitious about smurfs to this very day? Shocking new evidence.... you be the judge:

  Dance lessons for the post KH world

  if you're like me, you're upbringing didn't include much normal socialization, and you often find yourself a wallflower among a colorful explosion of "normal", "worldly" poeple, dancing and having fun at parties.

  we simply never learned to dance.. these dance lessons, "how to dance properly" have made such a difference in my life.

  it's hard to be bitter when you're "riding the pony" or, "stirring the pot of love".. dance, and fly free my fellow butterflys.
