That is just total bull shit that there is no need for food and clothing. Well if that was the case then why ask for donations (with no specifications on how or where they can be used) in the first place. What really gets me mad is that it's suckers like my family handing over their cash, thinking they are helping some needy orphan, when in fact that isn't the case at all. I would love to know just how much aid they are really supplying. Man they really pi@s me off.

New Article on BEARDS and Attire of Jehovah's Witnesses

it is interesting that there is virtually no statement that says a witness cannot have a beard, yet universally they do not have beards.
i have scoured quotes from all the threads on jwn, all references to beard on the cd watchtower library, and copies of elders letters that i have.

Just read the article on jwfacts, and once again it has come to my attention there was something that i knew nothing about. I was always under the impression that the beard thing was to do with the hippie thing back in the 60s, and to set us apart from that. I had no idea that it was an attempt to stamp out Russellisim by Rutherford. How very interesting. Goes to show there is always something new you can learn.
