Interestingly last weekend I had a luncheon with some ultra PIMI, regular pioneer, relatives. They showed me a video, that was taken in their KH, of a wt study in progress. The hall was built to sit 200+ people a few decades back. In that video i counted about 40 people in attendance. Mainly older people. I enquired about the current publisher count and was told it was around 90. The excuse I was given for the low physical attendance was because of zoom. For the sake of these relatives I really do hope Wt doesn’t sell off the hall in their locality. They are too old to drive the 40 min trip one way to the hall in the neighbouring town. This would literally finish both of them.

My old congregation is being shuttered
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini just found out from my jehovah's witness cousin that my old congregation is being shuttered due to lack of elders, less than 20 members attending, and that the congregation cannot meet their monthly expenses.. here is a congregation that was started in 1975 with less than 15 members.
it grew to 185 members in the 1990's.
the congregation grew so large that the elders decided to split the congregation in two.

A luncheon with ultra PIMI, elderly relatives
by joe134cd ini had a luncheon yesterday with and aunt and cousin.
the only reason i went, and endured it, was because my father who can’t drive wanted to see them.
as i sat there eating the lunch at the restaurant, i couldn’t help think how totally oblivious they are to what’s going on, in an ever expanding organisation of the happiest people on earth.

As I sat there eating the lunch at the restaurant, I couldn’t help think how totally oblivious they are to what’s going on, in an ever expanding organisation of the happiest people on earth. I would say at least 70% of the conversation was on JW.borg, and having little sidelines at me about returning to Jehovah.
In a way, I was frustrated and sad for them. Sad at their wasted lives been blind sided by an organisation. Frustrated that they were open to taking shots at me. Yet I couldn’t openly express the honest and genuine reasons for my exit, and why I’ll never return to the religion. But I realise that all 3 of them are old, and it’s best that they are left left there.

For those following the JW headquarters reaction to the UK documentary - Rebekah Vardy: Jehovah's Witnesses and Me
by jwleaks inin addition to the jws false and misleading denial that rebekah vardy was ever a jehovah's witness, a few other interesting developments occurred that are worth noting:.
1. an article in the last days newsletter reporting on how the jw[.
]org website scrubbed clean its jw 'news' page and produced an entire new glossary of jw terminally meaning for the media:.

If I could just diverge from the topic for the moment. Although, to say the least, it was unfortunate of Rebekah Vardy experiences. I can’t help but think that she to is also a vile opportunist, who is trying to climb the ladder of public opinion on the back of Wt. I also question her willingness to participate in this documentary had it not been for her tarnished reputation before hand. I actually think the two of them are well suited for each other.

I will reiterate what has been said many times before:
(1) The guy did not step down for health reasons. He was removed. So what ever happened was significant, and enough to upset people in high places.
(2) The guy is a raging alcoholic. If this wasn’t the exact reason for his removal it certainly would have been a contributing factor.
(3) In the apostate world absolutely no one knows where he is or what happened. Indicating some kind of green hand shake or remuneration. The cost of free rent, health care, and a weekly allowance for the rest of his life would be insignificant to if he decided to go public. Wt is been very prudent as to how this is played out.

Talking about the disparity between wealthy and poorer countries. I remember as a PIMI, that the KH I attended was going through, what I considered to be, an unnecessary renovation.
During this exact same time I had to travel to a developing country, for work purposes. While visiting a town I decided to attend a meeting. Tbh the Kingdom Hall, I felt, was in a very bad state of repair. What I found troubling, so much so that I can remember it to this day, is that we were squandering money on a building that really didn’t need it. Why wasn’t wt designating this money to this KH in this developing country. I now the reason why. Shortly after the ReFab the KH was sold, in order for a quickly built hall. The buggers walked away with a 100k ReFab, that its members paid for, and a $mill pluse for when the hall was sold.

Does the WTS have a clergy class (yes-no)
by blondie inwt 2021 october p.20 "in contrast, true worshippers of jehovah have no clergy.
although we respect those who are taking the lead, we accept jesus’ clear teaching: “all of you are brothers.”".
ijbq article 92 point 6: in contrast, true worshippers of jehovah have no clergy.

Interestingly, this was one of the major things that encouraged me to physically leave the religion. This was concerning the Menlo Park incident where they also claimed to be a hierarchical religion like the Catholic Church. I remember at the time, as I was some what of an innocent PIMQ, been totally flawed at seeing that. It very much upset me that they said that.

I started my fade in my late 30’s, I’m do glad I never married a Jw. One of the best decisions I ever made.
