If I was a young JW in my mid 20s. I’d be asking myself the question as to how I’m going to meet members of the opposite sex. Can’t date until your a MS, with few opportunities given by the borg. It ain’t looking favourable.

Regional Convention Attendance
by XBEHERE inelder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).
he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.
co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.

Pink of nice: I absolutely agree that these extravagant temples are been built. With no one in them. This has become criticism of the church of late. One example is of a temple that is been built in a neighbouring city from where I live. -

Since leaving the JWs I’ve taken a sideline interest in the LDS. More from the perspective of seeing my JWisim through the context of Mormonism. Doctrinally wise the Mormon church has got bigger problems with proving the validity of its truth claims and its prophet. Trust me, if you think the JWs are Bat shit crazy, my suggestion is,try the Mormon church.

The guy would have to be receiving some kind of weekly assistance from Wt . He’s just too big of a fish to kill, by throwing him out on the street. They might of set him up in some high end dependency treatment centre to dry him out. What ever the case, he’s been well hidden and doesn’t want to be found.

Tbh I’m not a big fan of DAing. I’m coming up to my 10 POMOversary. I’m actually quite glad I left before I opened my mouth. Don’t try to fix what ain’t broken. I’m in a similar situation as you, in that you have a wife and I have an elderly parent. For the time been it makes dealing with my father and by extension of that the JWs so more easier. I can be there with my father when they visit etc. It makes providing care for him so much more easier and stress free. Would he afford me the same courtesy? He probably wouldn’t, although with his state of health, I really couldn’t answer that question. If it makes your wife more comfortable, even though she’s half out. I’d just leave things as they are.
