What happened to, and where is Tony Morris. Lol
im just curious but what does the NZ of Teddnzo stand for. PM me if you don’t want to say it on a public forum.
i’m new to apostate stuff but have gone deep down a few rabbit holes of late so want to see both sides to everything .
im going to a congregation but am viewed as a bit of a black sheep because i question lots of things but not enough to cause too much trouble.. i’m intrigued watching the show.
in my heart i’m pretty sure the governing body are fakes and charlatans.. the entire thing is a big con game.

i was walking through a market today, and spotted lds cart witnessing.
so i thought, what the hell, i’ll give him a go.
i focused on the character of joe smith.
He made an interesting point. He said the have a lot of ex jw joining the Mormon church. If this is to be believed! I find it surprisingly unsurprising. But good luck to them if they do.

Ok for the doubters out there. I’ll go back next weekend and take a photo. To be fair the title I used was was a bit of click bate-ish. But they did have their literature displayed on a table, that was free to take. It wasnt on a cart. Ironically one of the reasons I was given, for why the church was so wealthy was because of the extreme cost of translating all their publications into various languages. Omg I almost chocked on my cappuccino, when he said that. There was just no way anything was going to get through to this guy. Actually the following day I’m still thinking about my interaction with this guy.

I focused on the character of Joe Smith. The wealth of the church. The 3 witnesses, and the Adam God doctrine. I got no where with him, as I tried to explain my JWisim in the context of mormonisim. Which was what I was expecting.
What stood out to me was just how totally indoctrinated he was. Couldn’t even get a word in, and the guy just wasn’t listening. Then, like a bolt of lightening out of the sky, it occurred to me that I was once like this very person I was talking to. I think I learnt a valuable lesson today.
yes, there’s a post on reddit.
it says that after a zoom meeting a request was made to baptized publishers to give $20 apiece to fix this elder’s car.. while this sounds highly irregular to me and not necessarily approved by the religion, i am not at all surprised at the nerve.
this, unfortunately, seems to be the direction that things are going there!
I actually know of a case where this happened. Except it was to buy this elder a car. He then managed to buy a car by applying to the lotteries board, through his sick wife. Yup you got it he got money from the people watchtower slams. I remember it been quite a scandal at the time. I was actually quite relived, at the same time, as I felt uneasy about if.
elder friend of mine texted me asking what my rc attendance was 2 weeks ago (family and i streamed it since wife is not well).
he told me that his rc in the jersey city assembly hall last weekend was low.
co told them that around 2600 were the total from 16+ congs that were assigned.
I can’t help but think what a joyless dark place watchtower is. As far as handing out microphones, and aspiring to be an elder in your 20s, what else is there to look forward to. One thing I’ll give the mormons full credit for doing, is organising events and activities where their youth can mix and mingle. Wt does absolutely nothing, and has got the results to prove it. Oh sorry they do, do something. Thats DF them when they go astray.
a good question is would you be more happy not knowing what you now know?.
were you more happy pimi?
are all the pimis more happy than the the pimos or the pomos?.
So he would definitely be more happy staying PIMI or at least PIMA
Im guessing probably? I think mentally apathetic may have been more his thing. The mistake he made was getting into drugs at a very young age. Once it took hold of him, it just intensified his narcissistic personality.
if it’s looking like someone may be disfellowshiped or announced they are no longer a jw and they don’t want to be shunned they just want to fade without being shunned - just say that would make me suicidal .
simple.
in the new shepherding book it says if they say that then don’t go ahead with it.
I can relate something similar to Bluesbrother. I hear reports of ones when they leave of harassment by elders. When I left, and to this point in time, I’ve heard nothing. So much so, that I don’t know if it was a blessing at their lack of interest or an insult. Idk so much for going after the lost sheep.

It’s been ten years since I last stepped into a KH. . In dealing with orthodox JW my advice is “the less said the better off you’ll be.”
i can confirm that the co during one of his service talks stated that zoom is a provision for elderly, infirmed, as well as people who might need it on occasion due to health reasons, otherwise you are expected to be in person at meetings and in the ministry.
this had to come down from the top.
maybe they do not want to put it in a gb update or broadcast since that would be too public i suppose.
I don’t think HQ would be brave enough to put it in writing, discouraging zoom.
