  Do you look like the apostate they warned you about?

  after waking up and wanting to get out of this nightmare, the word apostate is really bothering me.

  if i quitely become inactive, fade away will i just be looked at as "always weak".

  i want to scream out how big a fool i was.. and now telling my poor young daughter how wrong i was to bring her up as a jw.

  Christmas - love it or leave it?

  i am just watching my neighbours across the road putting up christmas lights while their children run around bursting with excitement.

  i am feeling all christmassy now.

  can't wait for my daughter to come home from uni next weekend so we can go and buy a tree from the garden centre.

  WTS Legal department ghouls

  the society has certainly had their share of financial setbacks, especially in the pedophile department.

  the legal department must actively save face and do damage control!.

  i can't help but wonder how many wts attorneys are flying around to be present at estate hearings, bequeathment hearings, probate court, reading of wills, etc.

  I would imagine with the conti case particularly, with the appeals process, it would be a very specialised field, and if team watchtower knows what is good for them they won't be skimping on attorney fees. When I was telling a following brother about the issues they were having with sex abuse, his reply was " oh I'm sure their legal department will sort it out". I then had to tell him that this wasn't the case as they had hired an outside leagal team. Poor brother just had no idea.

  so many suffering from depression... along with the few judgementalists.

  It would be interesting to see what the rates of depression would be amoungst all religious groups. It would also be interesting to see if the incidence of depression gets higher as the group becomes more conservative. I was reading that the state of Utah is one of the biggest consumers of anti depression medication, and no doubt the LDS Church also makes the same claim about their followers been the happiest people on earth as well.

  wolford and betty john,nice loveing couple,always loved children.. arther and tinnie roderson, nice couple he passed away some years ago too young from cancer.. wiakato and hine gray couldn't ask for better people.. jack teesie ..single guy would never go to a single sisters place for dinner even if she had children apperantly a bad look.. joe sleighman and wife nice couple were d.o's leaft and joined our side.. sandy pannell and wife...he reminded me of bill clinton always love to look down from the stage and wave his left finger at the congro....never liked him.. han's hubler,nuff said has been a few threads started about him.. there is many more.. karter..

  there are rumors out, that the italy (rome) bethel is being shut down and putting out to pasture a large portion of the bethel staff.. has anyone heard anything... ?.

  the word is that everyone but the most senior members will be let go.

  the senior bethel family members will be reassigned.
