To be honest. I live in a country very closely connected with Australia, both geographically and politically. Most PIMI are unaware of this.

I become particularly interested in the mormons after I left the JWs. For a never-mo (as I would be classified as) I have a reasonable knowledge in it. Basically if you think the JWs are bat shit crazy, then you need to look into Mormonism. Joe Smith was a total and utter rat bag, who is portrayed as a saint.

Mormons are more fanciful in their ideas. JWs more dangerous. With the exception of money, Mormons more tolerant of the nonsense from their leaders bad behaviour.

Lies, Damn Lies.
by Lost in the fog inhttps://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/home-and-garden/jehovahs-witnesses-to-resume-in-person-services-opt-not-to-resume-door-to-door-ministry/ar-aavnxv0 .
so apparently robert hendricks the spin doctor of the wt society has been proudly telling news channels how wonderful the wt org has been during the 2 years of the pandemic, checking in with each and every member to meet their needs on a weekly basis.. except, based on the comments of former jw friends on facebook, it's news to most of them since they are screaming out that they were totally neglected by the elders/ms throughout most of that period.
a couple even said that because of being ignored by the congregation during this time, that they have walked away completely.

I was just thinking the same thing. I physically walked out of the KH a decade ago. In that time I’ve had 2 visits from JWs (mind you one of those visits I felt like I was just a magazine placement) and 4 visits from the LDS. Isn’t it ironic how the world empire of false religion controlled by Satan, takes more care in going after the lost sheep, than Jehovah’s visible organisation. LMFAO.

Smurfs, Cabbage patch kids, going to the gym, LOTR, Harry Potter, have all come into the JW radar over the years.
I’m just curious but was going to the gym, seen as been un-theocratic. Or was it just a thing confined to my local area.

I’m in the same position with my aged father. To be honest I really don’t want him to wake up, and in my opinion is better of left in there. It can be frustrating but it’s the point of status quo, where although not perfect, it’s manageable. Maybe this is what might work for you.

WATCHTOWER extracts 104 million from Trust in U.K. Plan to ditch Kingdom Halls at play??
by Terry in{brother ?, a copy of this is being passed around here in bristol, kent, london, etc.
to “certain” elders by way of heads up.
feel free to ignore it or investigate it.

I agree with bluesbrother, that physical meetings won’t be abandoned. There would just be to many long term loses, for the short term monetary gains.

Don’t let it happen a 3rd time my friend. Btw I’m a successful fader and never been happier.

Do we need to step out of religion and into Christ
by joe134cd ini was just thinking?
do we as people, who have been hurt by religion, need to refocus our position.
do we need to step out of an organisation, to concentrate on a relationship .
