  this is really for the guys, but i know the woman here will have some great insights for us stupid men so i hope y-all will offer up your best.. when the woman i am with starts to tear up or cry i feel totally helpless and useless.

  this is one of the most dreaded situations i as a man can ever find myself in.

  my older brother, the retired police chief, would get angry if a woman started to cry when he was writing her a ticket, he felt it was an act.

  i passed the last exam to get my final microsoft certification, mcse, and just did it in time to have done them all within a year !

  my niece announced to the entire family she is disfellowshipped and i got t cornered.. i was in the room when she told the family (dumb me being nosey) and my family started asking me questions about going back to the meetings.. i told them i do not believe in organized religion and some days i doubt the biblical existance of god.

  i told them about the un scandal and they do not believe it.. they think it is a plot by satan somehow to mislead people away from the organization.

  after being cornered by five of them i went into my shell and didn't defend my thoughts very well.

  Ethical question here, what to do?

  hey all, i have a hypothetical ethical question.. i know for a fact (having heard directly from the now-adult) a certain man molested at least 2 children in the the 1970's.

  of course at the time this wasn't discussed and the creepo has gotten off virtually scott free.. i just found out some interesting medical information on him and was wondering if this should be shared with his victims.. of course this is hypothetical, right, i work in the health care profession and am bound by law not to divulge personal medical history.. that being said: the information of this guy doesn't have a lick to do with the past.

  I understand SP, I was raised by a bigot and EVEN though you know that the teaching is wrong you still feel this moment of discord within yourself....with me I just thumb my nose at my past and embrace my future full of more than just white people. Like Dr. Phil quotes "you gotta rise above your raisin' " LOL
